Bad businessman or is he lying?
Despite their truthful condemnation of Mitt Romney's vulture capitalism, his opponents and the media have ignored the huge taxpayers' subsidies financing this sleazy business.

It’s ironic that the question would be raised about a system that has brought economic freedom and prosperity to so many. But the public image of capitalism always suffers during economic downturns. This time, populist conservatives have teamed with traditional enemies to slap around capitalism pretty badly.
The attacks by his fellow contenders - Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman, Rick Santorum, and Rick Perry - on Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney for his successes at Bain Capital are disingenuous. The rivals are acting like Democrats. Romney's time at Bain epitomizes the type of success Republicans normally worship: financial self-improvement at the expense of the working man.
I believe Newt Gingrich (we should call him "The Grinch") and Rick Perry's attacks on Mitt Romney's years at Bain will backfire on them. They sound envious and desperate.
WASHINGTON - In approving a defunct $2.2 billion buyout by Bain Capital Partners LLC and its Chinese partner, 3Com shareholders cleared the way for a legal battle over a $66 million breakup fee.
American industry is tarred and feathered for legally “exporting American jobs” to foreign workers while the U.S. Government is praised for supporting the illegal importation of thirty million foreign workers who displace American workers within the USA. Where is the logic in this? When the cost to the American tax-payers is added to provide emergency health care and education for the foreign worker’s families, the comparison becomes even more bizarre.
SAN ANTONIO - The Justice Department on Wednesday approved the $19.5 billion sale of Clear Channel Communications, the largest U.S. operator of radio stations and the world's largest billboard company.
It’s hard to figure out Mitt Romney.
Whining from the Left regarding Mitt Romney’s silence to the sounds of renewed birther cries are hilarious and hypocritical. Romney is not the least bit responsible for the views of Donald Trump and would be foolish to jump into the fray of this non-issue.

I did not vote for Barack Obama, but he is my president.
Mitt Romney has released his income tax reports, so is it not about time the media insisted Barack Obama release his school records?
In a most peculiar attack launched by Mitt Romney against President Obama, Romney accused Obama of being at Harvard too long. Apparently, Mitt meant to show that Barack Obama is out of touch with mainstream Americans. But wait! Isn’t Mitt also a Harvard alum?
NEW YORK - Providence Equity Partners said Sunday it was "surprised and disappointed" by a lawsuit filed Friday by Clear Channel Communications Inc. to force the private-equity firm to complete its purchase of Clear Channel television stations.
“I quite understand Bill Sandry’s frustration in trying to obtain Mitt Romney’s position on the reinstatement of Glass-Steagall. Here’s how it works with the Romney campaign, Mr. Sandry. If Congress should manage to pass such a reinstatement (fat chance!) and it proves to WORK, then Romney will say that he was for it all along.”
SAN ANTONIO - Banks being sued by Clear Channel Communications and the private equity firm that wants to buy the company fired back Monday, asking a New York state court to dismiss the suit and to ignore requests for an expedited hearing.
WAYNE, Pa. - Financial data company SunGard Data Systems Inc. has been bought by a consortium of seven private investment firms for $11.3 billion, the companies said Monday.
“The people who do not believe Obama is a citizen of these United States should donate money to Sheriff Joe to pay for his deputy to go to Hawaii.”
"So someone thinks Indians live on handouts? Did you study history? The government forced Indians onto that land through treaties of which they broke."
NEW YORK - Next time a big private-equity deal is announced, don’t assume it won’t affect you. How those buyouts are being structured could reverberate across corporate America.
Mitt Romney’s foreign policy is about what you should expect from someone who evaded the Vietnam military draft by hiding out as a minister of religion — in France, no less. Like most Chickenhawks, as soon as the shooting stopped, Mitt suddenly became chest-beatingly aggressive, hoping that people might forget that he showed the white feather when it came time to stand up for his country.
“During the debate Mitt Romney stole Obama’s platform. Now Romney’s heart bleeds for the middle class and calls for shared sacrifice and he’s treated like the Messiah. For years now Pres. Obama has called for shared sacrifice, and he’s accused of class- warfare.”
