The second-ranked Arizona State women's golf team won the NCAA Fall Preview tournament on Monday, played at the par-72 Caves Valley Golf Course in Owings Mills, Md.
The Sun Devils captured the tournament for the first time since 1994 by shooting an 8-over total of 872 (295-291-286).
The win ends a victory drought that stretched back to the 2007 Pac-10 championship.
Three Sun Devils finished in the top 10. Junior Anna Nord-qvist carded a 2-under score to take second place overall.
Senior Azahara Munoz, winner of last season's NCAA individual championship, shot par to tie for fourth.
Rounding out ASU's top finishers was senior Jennifer Osborn at 2-over, in a tie for ninth place.
The remaining members of the team, juniors Juliana Murcia and Liisa Kelo, finished 25th and 66th respectively.
"This is really exciting because the Fall Preview is probably second-rated for field strength other than the NCAA championship," said ASU coach Melissa Luellen.
"All the top teams are here with the exception of UCLA and this is the first Fall Preview the team has won since Missy (Farr-Kaye) and I have been coaching here at ASU."
The next tournament for the team is Sept. 26-28 when it will compete in the Mason Rudolph Invitational in Franklin, Tenn.
