Yavapai College small forward Bryson Krueger, a Mountain Pointe High School graduate, has given Arizona State University a nonbinding oral commitment.
The 6-foot-7 Krueger was named the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference basketball Player of Year after leading the Roughriders to the league and region championship and a berth in the NJCAA tournament. He averaged 18.5 points.
Krueger originally signed with Vanderbilt but left and played last season at Yavapai.
Kruger was one of four players suspended from the team prior to the national tournament for "conduct inappropriate for a studentathlete," according to athletic director Bob Bockrath.
