Kole Calhoun hit his third home run in as many days and No. 1 national seed Arizona State beat Hawaii 8-4 on Sunday night to win the Tempe Regional and advance to the super regionals.

The Sun Devils (50-8) won their fourth straight regional title and will play either Arkansas or Washington State next weekend.

Calhoun's 16th homer of the season came with one out in the third and gave the Sun Devils a 3-2 lead. Deven Marrero hit a two-run homer and Drew Maggi had a two-run double for Arizona State in support of right-hander Jake Borup (11-1).

The sophomore worked six innings and allowed four runs on six hits, with three walks and three strikeouts. Mitchell Lambson threw a perfect seventh and eighth, striking out four. Jordan Swagerty worked a hitless ninth.

Riccio Torrez doubled twice for Arizona State, and Andrew Aplin had two hits.

Sean Montplaisir led the third-seeded Rainbows (35-28) with a two-run homer, and Pi'ikea Kitamura had two hits. Sophomore Connor Little, making only his fifth start, took the loss.

Four-time defending Pac-10 champion Arizona State won its 18th consecutive home regional game. The Sun Devils posted their 88th NCAA tournament victory in their 34th postseason appearance.
