Salvation Army hosts bilingual parent conference on abstinence

Catholic Charities and Arizona Department of Health Services are collaborating for the “Abstinence Bilingual Parent Conference.”

Catholic Charities and Arizona Department of Health Services are collaborating for the “Abstinence Bilingual Parent Conference” 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the Salvation Army of South Phoenix, 1351 E. Broadway Road. Lunch will be provided.

Focus will be on helping parents teach their children to make smart decisions about sexuality. Topics include healthy relationships, individual decision-making, consequences of becoming sexually active, how to communicate with teens and talk about family values and “helping teens choose abstinence.” For more information, call (602) 334-5356.
