If you adopt 4-year-old Caitlyn – and who wouldn’t want such a beautiful feline friend? – you better get used to being her favorite piece of furniture. Caitlyn will come over, head-butt you, and walk on you a bit before finding the most comfy spot on your lap for some quality one-on-one time. When this happens, you may find yourself in that position for a long time as Caitlyn basks in the petting, brushing and snuggling she expects from her human chair. Rub her ears, and she’ll love you forever, the folks at AZ RESCUE say.
But as mellow as she can be, Caitlyn also enjoys some active time. As soon as she sees a wand toy weaving around the floor, Caitlyn springs into action, chasing the toy and looking quite triumphant once she captures it. She loves to conquer toy mice and balls as well. Caitlyn has a lot of love to give to some lucky family, and is looking forward to receiving much love – and many ear rubs – in return.
For more information on Caitlyn, or other deserving animals, call Reducing Animal Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education at (480) 598-9410 or visit www.azrescue.org. The cost of adoption is $125 for cats and $150 for dogs, which includes spaying and neutering and some inoculations.
