Imagine needing to be rescued not once, but twice, in your lifetime. That's Nanette's story. This 6-year-old domestic short-haired torti/tabby was rescued as a kitten and placed in an adoptive home. But now, her adopter's situation has changed and Nanette has been returned to Friends for Life. Luckily, she is in the same foster home that cared for her as a kitten. But what she really needs is a permanent home of her own.
The folks at Friends for Life say Nanette gets along well with most other cats and has been around children. She is very social and loves to sit on a lap now and then. Nanette is declawed on her front paws, altered, FELV/FIV negative, microchipped and current on vaccinations.
Though she lives in a foster home, Nanette often visits the Mesa PetsMart at Stapley and Baseline roads on weekends. Or, you can contact Friends for Life at (480) 497-8296 to make an appointment to meet her. For more information on Nanette and other pets available for adoption, visit www.azfriends.org.
