Attention coaches — or coach wannabes: East Valley kids need you. The Ross Farnsworth East Valley YMCA is looking for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of children by serving as a youth sports coach. Mesa and East Valley YMCA locations currently need basketball, baseball, soccer and volleyball coaches.

The time commitment is two to three hours each week. Volunteer coaches must be at least 17 and pass a background check.

The YMCA provides sports opportunities for youth while teaching them core values. If you’d like to be a part of that or get other information about volunteering at the YMCA, contact Manny Vega at (602) 212-6317 or visit www.valleyymca.org/eastvalley.
