If you're looking for a fun event for the whole family, check out Queen Creek's award-winning festival, Passport to Discovery, this weekend. This free event is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11 at Desert Mountain Park, 22201 S. Hawes Road.
Activities will include an interactive Discovery Zone with a reptile petting zoo, an Art Adventures area, multi-cultural performances, and craft and food vendors. In honor of the state's centennial, there will also be performances, displays and cultural demonstrations showcasing Arizona's history and diversity.
Passport to Discovery is presented by Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and sponsored by Salt River Project and Re/Max Property Shop.
