Feline 5-year-old sisters Carly and Penny Lane are hoping there's an adoptive home out there that will keep them together. These best buds love to snuggle and play together. According to the folks at AZ RESCUE, it's not uncommon to see the pair on the top floor of their kitty condo just hanging out together, sometimes grooming each other, sometimes with their arms around each other.
But they make time for their people too. Wherever you sit down, Carly and Penny Lane are sure to find you, jumping into your lap and purring and headbutting you in hopes that you will pet them. The two tabbies - Carly has gray stripes and Penny Lane has brown stripes - also love to play with balls, mice and wand toys. Carly enjoys having her head rubbed and her ears scratched, while Penny Lane prefers to be scratched on her chin and on top of her head. This duo would be great additions to any family. Watch them live on AZ RESCUE's new kitty cam at www.azrescue.org.
For more information on Carly and Penny Lane, or other deserving animals, call Reducing Animal Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education at (480) 598-9410 or visit www.azrescue.org. The cost of adoption is $125 for cats and $150 for dogs, which includes spaying and neutering and some inoculations.
