“Weather experts say that Typhoon Haiyan, which struck the Philippines on Friday and is expected to hit the Southeast Asian mainland, may turn out to be the most powerful such storm since modern record-keeping began. But don’t worry. Global warming is just a hoax.”

“I’m with the Nov. 10 Venter regarding Obamacare maternity coverage. I’m a 46-year-old woman who had her fallopian tubes cauterized 8 years ago. I can’t wait to have maternity coverage, too.”

“Just want to tell Sunday’s venter that I, as a female, have no need for treatment for erectile dysfunction or prostate problems, either. But good news for Obamacare haters — your mental illness will be treated to the same extent as your physical problems. So, rejoice!”

“My buddies and I came up with a new drinking game. We would record all the statements President Obama and White House Press Secretary Jay Carney made for the week, then play them back on Saturday night, taking a drink every time they lied or tried to blame someone else. I’m not sure how it went, we all ended up so drunk we all passed out!”

“Is anyone surprised that the term ‘illegal immigrant’ is forbidden on a campus of the University of California with Janet Napolitano as president?”

“With Obama’s amazing foreign policy victories in Benghazi and Syria are we be better off with him resting on his laurels or negotiating a deal with Iran?”

“A letter writer claims there was good censorship during the civil rights fight in the 50s and 60s. No examples given, but it must be assumed that the death of Martin Luther King Jr. is a case of good censorship in this writer’s mind. No other clarification presented, no other conclusion reached. His letter is not a victim of censorship, but a casualty of fuzzy thinking.”

“The majority of my healthcare comes from the Veterans Administration, one of the biggest socialist programs in the country. They spare no expense to see I get everything I need to stay healthy. The V.A. can do this because they have no CEO making millions spending leisurely days on the golf course, no board members calculating their next bonus at the expense of someone’s benefits, and no shareholders demanding record dividends. In short, the V.A. has no conflict of interest.”
