“High Command insubordination, yes, but General McChrystal should be recognized for his fortitude in expressing what he thinks, and what the majority of the United States thinks, about the competence of the administration and its decisions on the Middle East conflict(s).”

“Paul McCartney should crawl in a hole and cover himself up.  He has never been known as an intellectual but he continually feels like he needs to remind us by speaking.”

“The libraries are giving away books to kids for completing the summer reading program. Fine. Except one, “La Linea/The Line” about a 15-year-old who leaves his poor Mexican town to cross the U.S. border illegally, is an indoctrination attempt.”

“I came to this beautiful country of ours in 1958 and became a proud American in 1961. We had to learn  how to speak English, write and read. No one translated for us, we are proud to learn. Why not do it the way it was done years ago when people still loved this country and wanted to be part of it. I feel better now that I was able to Vent a little, thank you.”

“Win or lose, the Obama administration’s court challenge to SB 1070 will make him a hero to all of the undocumented democrats across America.  The real losers, as usual, will be U.S. and Arizona citizens for having their tax dollars squandered on attorney fees.”

“Do you think we could get maybe one more page of Sports in the East Valley Tribune?  Is that too much to ask?”
