“Amazing, the mayor and city manager have found a way to finance a stadium for the Cubs. Yet we have no ability to keep the buses running. The proposed cut in service to the bus schedule in Mesa will make the system useless.”

“Paul McCartney showed that he had no class while receiving his Gershwin award at the White House (last week).  It is inappropriate for a foreigner to criticize our president, past or present, during an awards event.”

“John McCain and Jon Kyl sure have a lot to say about immigration in the last few months. Where were the two of you during the decades you have been Arizona senators?”

“Kudos to the East Valley Tribune and your commentators. You’ve had the moxy to write and print what’s really going on today in the our failing federal government by not bowing to those entrusted to administer it.”

“So Gov. Brewer met President Obama to discuss the border security issue. What was the result? Same as you would expect at a Hollywood meet and greet. I’ll have my people meet with your people, and we’ll do lunch sometime. What a blow-off!”

“I have been totally freaked out since discovering my anatomy textbook has an appendix.”
