“Did you see the photo of the president shaking hands with Castro? Oh, I meant the photo of Richard Nixon shaking hands with Fidel Castro. He put the five-finger grip on Mao Tse-tung, too. Their records on human rights are pretty well known, but somehow the Republicans have a bad case of memory loss about those photos. McCain slipped Muammar Gaddafi ‘five’ also, but he seems to have forgotten that while taking Pres. Obama to task for his greeting to Raul Castro.”

“If the pope thinks religion will overpower greed he’s dreaming. Religion only helps the greedy sleep at night from one donation on the Sabbath to the next.”

“Someone always has to make the first move. Extending an open hand from a President and nation that preaches peace and goodwill reflects that peace and goodwill on all Americans. A clenched fist from a little man will only get you a clenched fist from a belittled man.”

“I turned on the TV looking for a tribute to Nelson Mandela and ended up finding a reporter drool fest for President Obama. Interesting how the same people that mock people for worshiping God have no problem worshiping a mortal man!”
