“Don’t you just love it when cheaters lose? Suddenly, the Earth seems to be a little more in balance.”

“There are over 70,000 registered voters in District 18. About 10,000 of them signed the petition to recall Pearce, about 10,000 then voted for Lewis. Guess how many voted for the ASU student/dog walker who ran against Pearce last year? Yep, 10,000. This active, vocal minority has hijacked our district by abusing the recall provisions and it is a sad day for our district, state and nation.”

“The situation at Penn State has proven what many of us have believed for a long time. The purpose of college is to create fans for football teams.”

“Every (Penn State) student that protested should be put on academic probation and the ones that rioted should be expelled. The Pennsylvania Legislature should suspend the Penn State football program, if not all sports, for at least five years. That should be Joe Paterno’s legacy.”

“What were ages of these molested children at Penn State? Were they students?”

“Seniors rejoice. No longer when someone forgets something will it be called a ‘senior moment’. Thanks to Rick Perry it will now be called a ‘Rick Perry’ moment. Thank you Rick Perry.”

Venter 1: Nobody likes a cheater.

Venter 2: It was highly publicized. The majority of voters did not think it was important enough to vote. Those that did think it was important were rewarded for their actions.

Venter 3: Academically Penn State ranks in the top 50 schools in the nation. Their students are highly recruited. And yes most root for their alma mater's sports teams.

Venter 4: Not the students, the Board of Trustees should all be fired. They failed in their duties. Their number one priority should always be the students. They fired the face of the university at 10PM over the phone. Not only did they put the students in danger but also all of the first responders. They caved to media pressure when all they had to do was wait till the next morning.
Why suspend football or any of the other sports? What did the 4 time defending national champion womens volleyball team have to do with an ex football coach? Why punish kids for something they had nothing to do with?

Venter 5: The reported ages were 10-13. They were from Second Mile, a charity for underprivileged children and brought on to campus by an ex-coach.

Venter 6: At the beginning of the primary process I heard someone say "Get the popcorn and prop up your feet, this will be entertaining."
