“I always enjoy Linda Turley-Hansen’s column. She’s better than anyone, reveals the total disconnect from reality of the far right, the bigotry and racism of their political views and ignorance of the causes and effects of poverty in this country. Incidentally: Guns do kill people, and that’s a fact.”

“U.S. District Judge Murray Snow is getting ready to tell MCSO how to ‘Serve and Protect.’ With judges such as this we do not need anyone to lead MCSO or serve in the state legislature — a few judges can do it all.”

“The Syrian conflict requires the swift and bold action that our president often talks about, so he’s gearing up to cast a vote of ‘present’.”

“Here’s the logic of those with an irrational hatred of the president (I’m guessing because of his skin color): If he orders a strike against Syria on his own, they want him impeached for acting like a dictator. If he asks for and gets congressional approval for a military action against Syria, he’s a wimp who can’t make the tough decisions on his own.”
