“Another reason for low health care sign-up numbers: We’re a nation of procrastinators. How many of us turn in anything early? We are a country that sees a deadline and thinks: I bet I can turn it in a little late.”

“American Airlines and US Airways are going to merge; that’s just what this this country needs is another corporation too big to fail. I suppose the next move will be an offshore headquarters to avoid taxes and apply for subsidies. Congress should act now and amend the preamble to the constitution so it reads ‘We The Pawns’...”

“To the venter who “wishes every day we could have President Bush back in office”: do you remember the vacant ghost towns of abandoned developments, the many, many businesses that went belly-up, the foreclosure signs on every corner, the empty restaurants and the property values that plummeted in his ‘great recession.’ As I look around today, I see almost no foreclosure signs, I see restaurants again full of people, I see new and beautiful developments and property values returning. I see investment in our East Valley and positive signs everywhere. Perhaps it’s time for you to look seriously at the positive aspects of the current environment, not dwell on the negative.”
