"I see Chandler is considering cutting funding for its DARE program again. With the new medical marijuana act about to kick in, do you really think that is a good idea council? The students need to hear the real truth about the harmful effects of marijuana, and who better to inform them than our DARE officers."

"So Obama and the first family are attending the shuttle launch. It has to be this one, because of all the publicity and cameras and press for Gabrielle Giffords. What an opportunity for this selfish man. The sad part is that we all pay for all these trips. The good part is that 2012 is coming and he will be going."

"Scratch me from Jay Leno's list of fans. He brings on Lindsay Lohan to a standing ovation, which means his show obviously is not worth watching."

"I hope Grant Hill stays with the Suns next year. He's my favorite player on the team; I'd rather see him retire than go on to another team. Please stay, Grant."

"Kudos to the ‘trained observers,' deputies of Maricopa and Pinal County for their interest in traffic safety. For three weeks a traffic light serving the northbound lane of Gary Road at Combs has been burned out. Two emails have been forwarded to both Supervisor Martyn and Pinal County Public Works of the situation. The intersection is heavily traveled by both agencies and on any given day one may observe a ‘Queen Creek' Maricopa County deputy parked facing the light, watching for traffic violations. ‘Our tax dollars at work.'
