“Janet Napolitano has done it again. When it comes to illegal immigration, she talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk. All bills to limit this immigration get vetoed for some Mickey Mouse reason. Now she takes the sheriff’s money away so he can’t do anything.”

“Citizens of Maricopa County had better wake up because Sheriff Joe Arpaio, like him or not, is the only elected law enforcement official in the county. What Gov. Napolitano and DPS are doing is totally out of bounds.”

“I can’t wait to sign a petition to recall the governor. They impeached (former Gov. Evan) Mecham for less than what she has done.”

“How in the world did almost (60,000) warrants go unserved? Who is responsible for this build up? Is it our governor? It sure is somebody.”

“Is it legal for 1 million people from Arizona to each donate $3 to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department to specifically use to enforce our immigration laws? Won’t you help us if it is legal, Janet?”

“I don’t know how the anti-immigrants can call themselves winners (Vent, Monday) when Sheriff Arpaio arrests 300 people every six months and 3,000 people crossed the border last night.”

“If Michael Crow and Lisa Love think they are going to solve the problems of ASU by cutting out wrestling, (men’s) tennis and swimming, I hope the NCAA and PAC-10 drop them to a 3A or 4A school, because they are no longer on the national stage.”

“ASU athletes, welcome to the real world, you just got laid off. But be of good cheer, the severance package is better than any you would ever get in the real world.”

“If the coaches of baseball, basketball and football — who are like unbelievably and grossly overpaid — cared about the university and the athletic programs, they would take a cut in pay so these athletic programs could continue to strive.”

“I have been a long-time John McCain supporter. But if (Lisa) Graham Keegan is going to plan his educational program, I don’t think I can vote for him.”

“Why doesn’t the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union print their name larger on the anti-Tesco/Fresh & Easy junk mail I received yesterday? Aren’t they proud of their work?”

“Readers need to be reminded that liberal Tim Nelson, who will be running to unseat Andrew Thomas from his office of Maricopa County attorney, formerly represented the Arizona chapter of the ACLU and is sympathetic to that America-hating organization.”

“Your stand on ethanol — yes! Finally someone to stand up on this.”

“A venter (Tuesday) addresses the subject unpatriotic; Dick Cheney would never say G.D. America. He would say God bless America. That is patriotic.”

“To the venter who objected to my Al Gore/Barack Obama ticket. I voted for George Bush the first time and have regretted it ever since. But you are right about one thing. I am no rocket scientist.”
