“Rush Limbaugh was born to a prominent family of judges, authors and legislators in Cape Girardeau, Mo. At age 16, he became enthralled with radio. Not unlike Reagan, he even did sportscasting. He dropped out of college, not giving studies the requisite seriousness needed. Eventually he took over from Morton Downey Jr. in Sacramento, Calif. Unlike Reagan, he did not pursue politics as an elected official. Rather he pursued it as a self-taught pundit, knowing how to pander to his constitutent listeners, the fools who ‘elected’ him king of the conservative movement.”

“Ding dong the witch is dead. Nancy Pelosi is no longer in line for the presidency.”

“I think the raunchy videos being made on an aircraft carrier by the captain should be investigated by Rep. Ben Quayle, or maybe the WWII sailor could throw the captain overboard.”

“Last year my wife and I visited Switzerland. She
was pregnant and the baby was born while there. Imagine my surprise when I learned my baby could not even be eligible to be a Swiss citizen for 12 years. I told them they must be mistaken since all you have to do is come across the U.S. border and ‘presto,’ you were a citizen!”

Woops. I wrote #1. Number 4 is the amusing point, well taken and well made.

Now Accuracy, let's look objectively at the four vents up top.
Two express only opinion and state no fact [ #2, 3]. The 4th states a fact in a very amusing and creative way. It points out that unlike most other countries the US has what some call anchor babies, children who by virtue of there birth location alone, can be considered US citizens.
Then there is vent #1. It appears to have been written in response to that vent mockingly asking for Limbaugh's birth certificate, speculating that Rush is an Alien. It states facts, then points out that Limbaugh, as an opinion leader, was elected by a constituentcy which has made him successful and very wealthy. It expresses only one opinion, that those who voted for Rush are not particularly sophisticated but are easily led by a nose ring and simpleton logic.
Which vents do you agree with and why? Which vents do you disagree with and why?
As amusing opinions, I do not differ with either 2 or 3. Four is a solid fact. I cannot diagree with solid fact.
And number 4? I wrote number 4!

Yes, I presume you can reason rationally, not a meritorious assumption.
Objective reasoning begins with stating facts, not creating them. And before facts can be stated, a search must be undertaken. Then applying values to those facts [all of those facts] and weighing the result in the balance, a judgement can be made and an opinion repressed.
But few if any questions so far tilt the scales to one side or the other than differences of opinion stemming from differences in values cannot produce differences of opinions. Yet when there is no objectivity, when the facts are "created" or are only drawn from a narrow perspective, leaving those facts which otherwise would bring balance, does ultra right or ultra left opinion appear to rule the day. As a Neo-Con, your balance is off.

"Absent objectivity," so Dale Whiting posted.
Through intensity and with his inane chatter, Dale is being very 'presumptuous' again.

"unfortunately President Barack Hussein Obama will." Don't allow your prejudices to overcome your statement of fact. Absent objectivity, Accuracy fails.
Consider who the last sitting President was who, although eligible to run for a second term, chose not to run. Then re-write your comment as follows
"almost certainly President Obama will."
You are beginning to sound like Juan Williams of Fox [....]. Can't bring myself to use that four letter word which begins with an N, ends with an S and has an EW in the middle.

Democrat Nancy Pelosi stepped down as speaker of the House, and handed over the gavel to GOP Rep. John Boehner after four years of Democratic control in Congress.
Pelosi, will likely be demoted to minority leader and WILL NOT enter the Presidential Race in 2012 as the Democratic candidate . . . But unfortunately President Barack Hussein Obama will.
