Have you ever wanted to go somewhere in the world? Why not consider Arizona? I am very proud to live in Arizona for many reasons. Arizona has many historical sites including Canyon de Chelly, Spider Rock and the Grand Canyon. Arizona has many interesting animals like cactus wrens and sidewinder rattlesnakes. Though my favorite thing about Arizona is that I am surrounded by so many different kinds of people including Indians, Mexicans, Asians and more!

I am proud to be an Arizonian because of all the historical sites. Since there are so many, it makes you feel like you were actually there when it began. Some of the most popular historical sites are Spider Rock, Canyon de Chelly, Lake Powell and the Sonoran Desert. Canyon de Chelly has held many different tribes including Mojave and Apache. Arizona is the state of the past. Arizona is also an important state in U.S. history.

Equally important are Arizona’s animals. Arizona is most famous for its cactus wrens, sidewinder rattlesnakes, bobcats, gila monsters, mountain lions, coyotes and javelinas. These exotic animals are rarely found anywhere else. Arizona has protected animals for so long. That’s what makes me proud.

However, what makes me most proud to live in Arizona is that I am surrounded by so many different types of people — Indians, Mexicans, Asians and much more. They say Arizona is a top tourist spot for Americans, but what they don’t know is that Arizona is a top tourist spot for people all over the world. People come here to get away and relax in our opulent climate.

Arizona is a wonderful, beautiful state. It’s like flowers in the spring. Its animals wild and free. Arizona is a beautiful state that will make your heart burn with happiness. And that’s why I am proud to live in Arizona.
