This is America. Since when does the opinion of a few misguided individuals have the power to force a manufacture to apologize for refusing to advertise his product using a means that is found to be offensive by many? Barilla’s president was perfectly justified in refusing to use “gay” couples to advertise his product. It’s no one’s business how the company wishes to pitch their product. If the shoe does go on the other foot and Barilla falls to the intimidation and scourge of “political correctness,” it would be no surprise to observe their sales drop considerably.
