It's too bad that Jerry Lewis, educator, didn't do his homework before taking the recall bait provided to him by Randy Parraz, Democrat. Did Lewis ever ask, "Who is behind this recall?"

It would have taken a couple of hours to do the research on his benefactor, but replacing Russell Pearce with a fresh, more "representative" voice was all that mattered. Not a dangerous political game plan.

Parraz was a leader for nine years for the Arizona AFL-CIO, and a leader for nine years for the Industrial Areas Foundation. This organization was started by Saul Alinsky. The most famous person to have followed the Alinsky model of community organizing is President Barack Obama.

Parraz moved to Arizona from California, to make "transformative social changes." Hope and change?

The politically skilled Parraz has gotten not just Republicans to fight against each other, he has gotten Mormons to fight against each other. He ran a successful recall election against one of the most famous conservatives in America: Republican President of the Arizona Senate, author of SB 1070, Russell Pearce.

A Lewis win will result in these nationwide headlines: "Devastating loss to the battle against illegal immigration! Architect of SB 1070 loses recall election!"

Emboldened Democrats will start picking off every conservative they can.

When Lewis reaches the steps of the Arizona Capitol, he won't have to suffer from the vitriolic hate of pro-illegals who last July threw our beloved American flag to the ground, walked all over it and covered it with graffiti, while patriotic Americans sang our National Anthem. He won't be subjected to the intimidation tactics of Carlos Galindo and the taunting crowd of pro-illegals that Pearce has tolerated.

Not if he knows what's good for him.

Anita Christy, Gilbert

    Anita,

See a shrink. You're sick! Why is it that Neo-cons relish conspiracy theories? And while we are at it, who's bankrolling your efforts?

Anita, please ignore Dale Whiting. Dale's off his meds again. He's also angry because his landlord removed the trees from his yard, so now he has nothing to hug.

It's a matter of fact, that Parraz LIVES in North Scottsdale, NOT in district 18. Parraz also has FAILED to come clean as to just who all of the parties are that backed his recall drive.

This so called recall, is exactly what you nailed it as, Anita. It's an Obamination of a sorry excuse to tramp on our LAWS, force illegal aliens down our throats, and to provide below the table cheap workers to some of Parraz's backers.

Anita Christy.... Just as Butters posted; Please ignore "Neo-con" name-caller Dale Whiting.

Your Letters, "Lewis should have done research," was a good story about political activist Liberal Democrat Randy Parraz. The Latino Democratic candidate for US Senate who did not replace (retire) US Sen. John McCain in the last election. And who now is talking about his so-far successful efforts to recall and replace state Senate President Russell Pearce . . . with a Republican Mormon.

But if and when the U.S. Supreme Court accepts the State of Arizona's petition to review the Obama administration's lawsuit against SB 1070 (Arizona's illegal immigration enforcement law), the arguments by Leftist elitist Randy Parraz, and the Arizona Progressive Democrats of America, will cease to be.

    Accuracy,

Just who made you an expert on constitutional law? Reading it several times does not an expert make. That is precisely what was and is wrong with Russell Pearce.

As I read your letter this morning all i could do is laugh at your comments. Here you have a political liar Russell Pearce and people like you want to blame anyone for the corruption but him says alot about your character too. So what if Parraz gave advice and help to those who were seeking it. Chad Snow had as much input in giving advice to those wanting to recall pearce. Have you done your research to see who has come to Russell Pearce's recall aid? There are plenty of outsiders who have done exactly what you accuse Parraz of doing. Where is your outrage there? You mention that Parraz has also gotten mormons to fight one another, well that tells the whole story in my opinion. You have some mormons with ethics and moral character and those who hide behind their faith with so much hate for people not like them. Your letter sounded like someone who was high on too much coffee trying to portray a wonderful moral man (pearce) who is getting attacked for no reason at all.
Face it this issue is giving the Mormon faith a black eye all by itself, no one needed parraz to do that since Russell Pearce has had many issues in the media for years. This guy was fired from the MVD for illegal activity with someone in which he was trying to get her off serious problems by altering or messing with her motor vehicle record, he has also been accused of beating his wife, he has also benefited by $40,000 plus in kickbacks from the fiesta bowl. So you think this is acceptable mormon behavior?
You claim that parraz has separated so many but try to make yourself sound like such a great american with your angelic voice singing the national anthem. There are many people in this state and country who have stomped on the american flag and disgusting as that is they have a right to do so if they choose. Now whether they were citizens or not is the question since i was not there. Your pontificating performance leaves alot to be desired because you come across as someone filled with so much hate so i am making the assumption you must also be mormon and if i'm wrong forgive me but your letter had hate and lots of it, not just directed at Jerry Lewis whom I do not know.
So I suppose you are okay with Olivia Cortes being used to dilute the votes as shown on TV and these people doing this were related to Russell Pearce. Your a hypocrite just like he is and your just wanting to spread your letter of hate in the best possible way you can but your probably as filthy as he is in spirit and heart.

Anita apparently hasn't noticed that Parraz isn't running for anything.

Lewis, of course, is a grownup and can decide whether or not to run for office by himself without help from Parraz or anyone associated with the recall.

Those 23,000 people in District 18 who gave their name, address and signature to strangers are also grownups. They didn't sign the petitions because Parraz told them to, but because they want Pearce out of the State Senate.

The 69,000 registered voters in District 18 are grownups, and will decide who to elect in the November 8 election without reference to Saul Alinsky, Chairman Mao or other irrelevancies.

Instead, they will decide between the dishonest bully, the sham candidate and the one honest person on the ballot. It's really not much of a choice.

As i just got thru watching channel 12 reporter talking about all the connections to the russell pearce recall and Anita did you research Constatine Querard? he is an outsider who claims to have helped 27 of the 61 legislatures get elected. What and how can you defend that what he is doing is any different than what Randy Parraz is doing? The chilly part is where he sends out emails requesting anyone who might be a Patriot who is willing to help Russell Pearce out. Most know what and whom the patriots are and what they represent, racism and bigotry pure and simple and now your letter to the editor is making much more sense about who you are and why you defend Russell Pearce so much. As i said earlier I don't know anything about Jerry Lewis but what i have seen or heard he seems like a decent human being. So yes be afraid of Lewis because he holds the key to stopping the hate that Russell Pearce is so well known for.

Dale Whiting posted this question: "Just who made you an expert on constitutional law?"

What a stupid and senseless question.

It was the United States Supreme Court’s decision in May in the case of Chamber of Commerce v. Whiting, in which the high court concluded that an Arizona employer-sanctions law that penalizes businesses that knowingly hire illegal immigrants is constitutional.

Now Arizona's immigration law (S.B. 1070) is a case that also deserves the consideration of the high court. So, the state of Arizona is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to take the case and overturn the decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit that sided with the Obama Administration challenging several key provisions of the illegal-immigration law.

Again, so if Pearce is against and spent too much effort on illegal immigration and that is why he is being recalled- the people running against him are for it? That should make for a tough decission.

Dale Whiting, you've been seeing a shrink since you were a little boy and it hasn't done a bit of good for you has it?

Parraz isn't running for anything, and neither is bobunf, just two shills using the system to subvert the voters wishes by deception. I doubt bobunf even lives in district 18. I know Parraz doesn't.

I recall has not deceived the voters in any way. We have been very clear of our goal from January 31, 2011: Remove Russell Pearce from office. Pearce had, and continues to damage the state. 23,000 people in District 18 agreed sufficiently such that they were willing to give their name, address and signature to strangers.

As for outsiders, Pearce received 8 donations from his district in 2010. The rest came from places like Alabama.

Yes bobunf, stick to that story and maybe no one will see the whole picture. Keep telling them it has nothing to do with illegal immigration. In fact, tell them you are for border security and comprehensive immigration reform. Most people still don't get it that comprehensive immigration reform means amnesty, so it still works to fool them. Tell them that fighting against illegal immigration is damaging the state. Maybe the voters will be fools enough to believe that the invasion will help them get good paying jobs and improve their children's Spanish speaking skills. Voting out Russell Pearce is a major win for pro illegal alien, open border groups whose only goal is to take back southwestern America for Mexico. Parraz and several contributors to this rag, including bobunf are deceiving voters about their true motives. La Ratza/MEChA supporters all.

Rose doesn't use facts or logic. He/she just calls names, throws in some absurdities, and waves the bug-a-boo of invasion.

For that the voters are supposed to excuse lying, cheating and stealing? No they are not. We know we are better than that; better than Russell Pearce and his band of liars, cheaters, thieves and users of poor naive immigrant women.

Throw that illegal red herring back in the water. Nobody is buying it.

Oh and you think the messiah will win and all the liars and cheats will be banished to Hades? bobunf, you are a dreamer if you think Lewis will do anything different than line his own pockets as all have done before him and all will do after. Of course La Ratza will be the real winners if Lewis defeats Pearce. Them and all the open border, illegal alien supporters out their. Once they can show how outsiders, Parraz and Snow, who don't live in district 18 yet initiated this recall, can defeat their archenemy, Pearce, no one will dare try to stop the invasion. bobunf wants the invasion to continue. He wants his fellow countrymen to take back the American Southwest from the Anglos that stole it from the Chicanos. Good luck with that. I really mean it. Get what you can get however you have to lie cheat or steal to get the hit job done. lol, users of poor immigrant women? Now that is too too funny even for you Chicanos who would never stop at abusing your women to get what you want. Chicanos are some of the biggest abusers of women in the entire world.
