Folks, to be honest, I didn’t give a rat’s patootie about the presidential election. In my book, it was a choice between “tweedle-dumb and tweedle-dumber.” On one hand we have a Socialist Wanna-Be, Barack Hussein Obama, and on the other hand a super-wealthy, out-of- touch, silver-spoon guy who took every draft deferment in the book to get out of serving his country. I could care less if it was legally legal or not. In my book, having someone carry “your” gun in time of war is morally wrong.

The 2012 Election didn’t change a darn thing. A Republican president would have had his agenda thwarted by a Democratic Senate the same way Obama will have his agenda thwarted by a Republican House, equaling a stalemate and political gridlock for the next two years (until the next house elections) at least.

What I did care about in this election were two things: Sheriff Joe Arpaio being re-elected and he was. Prop 204 going down the toilet (millions of union and Democrat dollars along with it).

Flake beat Carmona (tweedle-dumb and tweedle-dumber again). Sheriff Babeu was re-elected in a very conservative area (he’s redeeming himself).

Funny how such a big deal was made about him being gay yet the media never mentioned Ms. Sinema being a lesbian (our biased TV and newspaper media pushing their anti-SB 1070 agenda again). If Ms. Sinema is elected, be prepared to see her and Congresswoman Maxine Waters have knock-down drag-out tussles on the House floor over the microphone. Should be a hoot, folks.

Sorry was there a disparaging remark associated to homosexuality in the letter or are the posters here assigning a presumed harm because it was pointed out? Nothing to be embarassed about in calling a spade a spade or is there?

Nice to know Leon knows the difference between being lesbian and bi-sexual. And it's no surprise that he is prejucided against both. Quite a fine qualification for being an Arpaio supporter! Maricopa County deserves Arpaio as its sheriff. That's an indightment if ever there were one.

Truth, posting on the 'net with your real name is a risky thing.

I've been participating in political discussions on the 'net since '84, mostly on Usenet and the right wingers have developed software that tracks your computer via the info in the headers ( on Usenet not forums like this -- that I know of ) and righties are fond of publishing peoples name and address and phone number when you disagree with them and especially when you prove they are nincompoops and they can't logically defend their positions.
There have been quite a few physical assaults by righties from these political discussions. I've never heard of a liberal doing that -- only right wingers.
Just as some of the anti-abortion people think they are called by God to kill abortion doctors, some of them think it is their duty to stop liberals by any means.
Not that any of the posters here are like that --- but you never know.
A lot of people use some of the available randomizer / incognito services that prevent you from being tracked down ( supposedly ) and with good reason.
And, to make matters worse, that software isn't reliable and they often publish the wrong name and address etc. etc. and even attack the wrong people. Totally innocent people who have no idea what the hell happened or why.

Firms in the S&P 500 are currently sitting on top of a $900 billion "cash mountain". 40% more than they had on the books before the recession hit in 2008. Conservative American business leaders blame "meddlesom federal regulations" and the fear of the "fiscal clif" for their reluctance to invest. But in fact, when the Bank of Canada Govenor Mark Carney calls "dead money" is a worldwide phenomenon. It's accumulating in Brritain and Japan, and "no single factor" explains it. Oil companies account for a disproportionate share of the cash build up, as they milk high commodity prices instead of seeking new reserves. The Economist

Leon, you would make Carl Rove and Rush Limbaugh very very proud. You once asked why some people don't use their real names when posting in the Trib. When there are right-wing nuts out there who follow the above spokesmen as spokemen of Gods word. Example: The Republican wife who ran-down her husband with her jeep sending him to the hospital with critical injuries and permanent damage because he didn't vote for Twitt Romney. Some need a reality check.

Correction to my Letter to the Editor.

Ms. Sinema is a bi-sexual not a lesbian.

In any case, Babeu was tarred and feathered by the Liberal Media, the EVT Letter Writers and Commentors......for his "alternative lifestyle" (boy, can I be any more "politically correct" than that".....and she was given a ...."pass".

    Leon,
One thing is very clear from your slanted, bigoted piece.
You advocate ignorance in not only the sheriff's office but education, too.
Leon, you just can't drag everyone down to your level.
Some people still think with their brains.
Thankfully, my votes canceled yours out.[beam]

The definition of bixsexual: Sexually attracted to both men and women, or engaging in both heterosexual and homosexual activity.

Face it, EV. She's a lesbian. Or at least partly.

Ah, so your ALL CAPS ranting these last few months have been...what?
Memory loss due to your medication? Or just forgetting to take your medication?

    "knock-down drag-out tussles"
I'm shocked that the Tribune even published your ignorant, hateful, misogynist rant.

Leon, do us all a favor and move back to California - I'll help you pack. ;)

Whenever I read your "postings", Leon, I picture Archie Bunker...

You do realise that he's a satirical character, from 30yrs. ago, right?

At any rate, I agree with what you said, in your first two paragraphs (although, the reference to Obama being socialist made me wince). After that, you started channeling Jerry Springer's best of, and shouting for Edith to get you a beer...
