Let’s call this The Miracle of 2012.

The Electoral College meets Dec. 17. This is where the president is actually chosen. There are 24 states not bound by law to vote for their “popular” vote.

Of these 22 states, nine states voted Democratic. The following states are listed with their electoral votes: DE-3, IL-20, IA-6, MN-6, NJ-14, NY-29, PA-20 and RI-4.

With the stock market falling for three days, China reports “happiness.” It is obvious what the Obama administration will bring. Rich people are pulling out of America, who Obama was going to tax. They won’t get taxed; those of us with jobs will, who don’t have enough money to leave but to live through the next four years.

Let’s make this a year to “break” tradition, and plead these states to vote for Romney and a better economy.

Has it happened before? No. Can it happen? Yes. Is it time for it to happen? YES! Join me in positive thinking and actions of writing newspapers and calling for electors to change vote.

Part 1 of Miracle is that electors will change their votes.

Part 2: Romney comes out and pledges that, “his number 1 concern is the economy, because of that, while in office pledge to not support any legislation for more rights or less rights for women on abortion and gay rights.” Leave that for another presidency and save our country from our debt crisis.

Reality Check: 16% of China's wealthy citizens have emigrated, and 44% intend to do so soon. More than 85% plan to send there children overseas for their education. The Echonomis. Their destination the U.S.
It is estimated 21-31 trillion dollars world wide are hidden in off shore tax free havens, the real blame for the world economy slow down is caused by the 1% and their greed for more riches.

IT WOULD BE A BIGGER "MIRACLE" THAT THE LOAVES AND FISHES. LET US HOPE THAT GOD IN HIS WISDOM MAKES THIS OCCUR.

WE ARE SUFFERING WITH AN OBAMA 3% VICTORY BECAUSE AMERICA HAS LOST IT'S MORAL COMPASS....GAYS AND LESBIANS IN OUR MILITARY....OUR HIGHEST RANKING MILITARY ARE COMMITTING ADULTERY (NOT TO MENTION OUR EX-PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT, BILL CLINTON AND HIS 20 YEAR OLD WHITE HOUSE VICTIM), 1,200,000 ABORTIONS (BABY MURDERS) ARE PERMITTED TO TAKE PLACE IN AMERICA, PAEDOPHILE TEACHERS, PRIESTS, BOY SCOUT LEADERS AND SPORTS LEGENDS ARE ALL OVER THE NEWSPAPER. OUR NATION'S LEADER IS NOT AMERICAN-BORN AND A SOCIALIST TO BOOT (NON-CHRISTIAN TOO), OUR FIRST LADY WAS "ASHAMED TO BE AN AMERICAN" FOR THE FIRST 40 YEARS OF HER LIFE. NO WONDER GOD HAS ABANDONED AMERICA....WE HAVE BECOME THE NEW..........."SODOM AND GEMORRHA".

Truth....you claim: " It is estimated 21-31 trillion dollars world wide are hidden in off shore tax free havens, the real blame for the world economy slow down is caused by the 1% and their greed for more riches." One must assume that you believe this. I won't waste my time verifying your "statistics" but ask you instead: Why do you think those rich people are "hiding" their money in off-shore tax free havens? You say they are simply greedy; if so, why put money where it fails to multiply? That's a sign of greed? You say that's the cause of the global failing economy; but if the rich are too leery of losing their money by investing it in the economy, why do you suppose they ARE so leery? If they are greedy, don't you think they'd want to use their riches to make MORE money? Isn't that what it means to be "greedy"?

The fact that they use "tax free havens", according to you, should indicate that they fear excessive taxation. Why else attempt to avoid reasonable taxes? Even Warren Buffett fights US tax policies where his own companies are concerned, although he hasn't yet moved his Billions out of country so far as is known. But he hasn't voluntarily paid more taxes, either.

Ask the same questions of China's wealthy. Why would they abandon their own country except for fears that they might lose their assets? And why would any country with sense act in ways that push people with lots of money to invest out of their own country in the first place? Yet, you want to blame these "victims" of their own countries' policies for what happens?

It is amazing that some on the Left have such a distorted perception of reality sometimes.

    Ilene,

Suicide being illegal, don't hold your breath.

I am confident that in these nine or so states voting Democratic where electors are not bound by the vote that the electors are all confirmed party regulars. The vote was not so much for Obama or Romney whose names headed up the balott space, but for the electors whose names appeared in smaller print. And those party regulars are not about to switch their vote.

Hope may in deed spring eternal, But remember, Ilene, suicide is illegal!

    Ilene,

When it comes to the Stock Market, there is nothing obvious, except that, it will rise and fall...

Rest assured, our puppet masters will retain their riches, in spite of Obama's rhetoric...although, perhaps you should be more concerned that it wouldn't have been any different, had Romney won?

Good day to you, madam, and remember to hold on to your dreams, but have a plan B, in case they turn out to be nightmares!

Romney suggests that he lost this election because of the “gifts” Obama has and is able to bestow.
I think Romney makes a good point, Obama’s gifts far outnumbered Romney’s throughout this campaign. I will be glad to live with that knowledge for the next four years.

Cerulean, why don't the Republicans mention THEIR gifts to the people who vote for them?
They offer to outlaw abortions to those who want to force their belief on everyone else.
They give tax breaks to the upper classes and demand more more more.
They give subsidies to corporations that are making fine profits already.
They have stopped the IRS from taxing tax exempt status from churches who engage in politics in violation of the law.

Republicans give just as many, if not more, gifts to their supporters than Democrats.

Interesting. This letter simply proves that many in the far-right don't really love democracy. Instead, they wish for a dictatorship that only puts their people in place. I guess its okay to override the wishes of both the majority and the Electoral College. Sorry, Mrs. Whipple, in my book, that makes you both unpatriotic and un-American. The fact is that President Obama won the election and will serve the next four years in office.

Leon: I know that talking to you is the equivalent of talking to a brick wall (although the brick wall may show more intelligence by keeping quiet), but let me point out a few things to you. 1)Gay people have always been around and they have always served in the military. 2)Sex scandals, such as adultery, is nothing new. Ben Franklin had an illegitimate son (which, in an act of nepotism, he had appointed as Royal Governor of New Jersey), Ike supposedly had an ongoing affair with Kay Summersby during WWII, and we are rife with sex scandals during our existence. Most of the pedophilia that is now coming out occurred decades ago, when the Presidency was filled by Reagan, Bush, and his son. Does that mean that the moral compass under these Presidents was also off. I won't even touch the bull hockey about the "foreign" born president. This has been been thoroughly disproved and only the really far-right crazies hold onto this belief.

As for God deserting the US, I am curious when you think that God was with us. Was it during the the first 90 years of our existence when a black slave was 3/5 human. How about during the War of 1840, when we attacked Mexico in a land grab. How about during the 1880's, when robber barons lived in opulent mansions, while many lived in squalid slums. How about the 1930's, during the Great Depression. Or maybe you mean the 1950's, when blacks had to ride on the back of the bus and use separate and unequal. In fact, these are just a few examples of the United States at its worst. The simple fact is that the US was founded and is still run by man. We are capable of greatest and also of the worst depravity imaginable. God has and has always had very little to do with it.

I was following sdjtaz all the way up to the last statement where God had little to do with it. As pointed out man has free will- always has. Some men do bad things and others do good things. All life was created by God. Unless your in the group that belives that lightening hit a puddle and yadda yadda out came the most complex machine ever- life. President Obama did win a second term. I didn't vote for him, but he will be our President for the next 4 years. I hope he leads us to a better 4 than the last 4. Nothing he has done or said should lead anyone to belive he will do anything different.

AZ Willie, didn't George Bush give tax breaks to the middle class? Last I heard, Obama is considering keeping those tax breaks going. It's a shame you seem to forget FACTS like that.....

    Masterrogue666, I didn't forget that.
But you and your fellow traveler righties ignore the gifts of the Republlcan politicians to the wealthy and corporations all the while screaming bloody murder over people getting any " welfare " which amounts to a small fraction of the money given to the wealthy and corporations.
It's a puzzle why righties have so much hatred for those who are worse off than they are.Given the chance the right wingers would completely abolish all welfare and other programs that help those who have come to be in a difficult place. The righties constantly claim " those people " don't want to work -- with NO EVIDENCE of that whatsoever.

AZ Willie: First off, as I've stated many times before, I'm a GDI. However, I'm more conservative than liberal. In any event, I'd like you to explain where you've read of my "hatred" you wrote of. Where is your "EVIDENCE"? I have no problem with someone receiving welfare, provided they try their best to get OFF of welfare ASAP. There are those that do need that assistance for awhile. There are also those that would have no qualms about living off the good graces of others until they are in the grave.

You act as if that second kind of person doesn't exist, when we both know they do. As for evidence, I have a lifetimes worth of meeting BOTH KINDS of said persons over the years, but there's no way I can "verify" those experiences.

You mentioned: "" welfare " which amounts to a small fraction of the money given to the wealthy and corporations." Where's YOUR EVIDENCE? I've done a small bit of research in that area, and I just can't agree with your statement. Perhaps you can provide some....

AZ Willie: As to the other points you mentioned:

Abortions: I have no problems with a woman getting an abortion. If I was a woman, and had been raped and impregnated by my rapist, I don't think I'd want to carry his child for 9 months, then give birth. That being said, it's also that woman's body, and therefore her choice. I've known woman that took precautions, and still got pregnant. I also think a woman (or man, for that point), should be allowed to "sell" their body (But pay taxes! LOL). That may even help prevent certain sex crimes, for all I know.

Taxes: I'd like to see a base tax rate, for ALL citizens and businesses, although I've been told it won't work.

Churches: Since most faiths seem to make political statements from time to time, I think they should be taxed as well. Considering how many churches there are, that's a GREAT UNTAPPED source of revenue!

"All life was created by God."
That's a bold claim. Do you have any evidence to support it?
(if you do, you'll be the first person in history)

VofReason - you will either need to retract your unreasonable claim, change your screen name...or continue to slander and lie (I wonder which will occur LOL).

Rogue - If churches were taxed at the same rate as every other property owner, we'd have another 120 billion dollars + a year.

Think that would help? ;) Just imagine if we'd been doing that all along!
