There are two different points I would like to make concerning two of Arizona’s sports teams.

First, the Suns should fire Alvin Gentry. As much as I like him, he has not been doing a good job this season. The Suns have the second-worst record in the Western Conference. It’s time for a change. Hire someone who will help us win some games.

Second, the D-Backs should not trade Justin Upton. Not only is he a talented player, he is my favorite D-Backs player. He should stay with us. Enough with the trade rumors!

The Suns will never fire Mr. Gentry. They feel that they have an "image" to protect and promote of an "all-inclusive" Organization. Just like ASU. They wanted a reputation for being "forward-looking" and "all-inclusive" too. So ASU went the ...."AFFIRMATIVE ACTION" route like the Suns.

But the question is...."WHAT DID THE ASU ALUMI AND BOOSTERS AND THE SUN'S FANS GET OUT OF THIS....."FEEL GOOD"....EXPERIENCE. NOW WONDER STEVE NASH LEFT TOWN AND ASU COULDN'T GET ANY TOP-PICKS FOR THEIR FOOTBALL PROGRAM UNTIL THE ASU BOARD FORCED A CHANGE IN THE ASU ATHLETIC DEPARMENT'S LEADERSHIP.
