I support the request by Maricopa Supervisor Mary Rose Wilcox for the Sheriff’s office to go into receivership — $99 million is much more than an accounting error; it’s gross malfeasance.

Wilcox has the welfare of Arizona’s citizens at heart. Joe Arpaio has the welfare of his ego at heart. Arpaio should resign, but he won’t. Admitting one’s mistakes is an adult endeavor.

To allow Sheriff Joe to continue will invite his already bloated ego to expand. Imagine the good that $99 million could do for our bankrupt state. Where’s the money Joe? You need to go. Support Mary Rose Wilcox.

"Wilcox has the welfare of Arizona’s citizens at heart"

BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. In 2009, Wilcox was indicted on 36 felony counts, including conflict of interest, perjury, forgery and false swearing. The charges were dropped.
Arpaio has yet to be indicted.

    2. Earl Wilcox (Mary Rose Wilcox’s husband), who as an aide to Governor Janet Napolitano (now head of Homeland Security) walked into the chambers of Judge Carlos Mendoza with boxing promoter Peter McKinn. Not only did Peter McKinn have an outstanding arrest warrant issued by Mendoza’s court. Wilcox, according to Mendoza, intimidated him, threatened his court’s budget, and all but told him if he didn’t let McKinn walk, Mendoza was in trouble. Can we say abuse of power?

    3. On December 4, 2004, the Wilcoxs' illegally demolished a 105-year-old home. This incident was "a substantial loss" to Phoenix's history, according to a two-month city investigation. The pair failed to ask the city for a demolition permit, which would have flagged its historic designation and thwarted its destruction.

Of yes DJ, the Wilcoxs' are a genuine assett to Arizona are they not?

Mary Rose ought to be sacked for taking so many loans from the same non profit that she voted on to receive a grant of taxpayer funds. By the way, she needs to decide whether she wants to be a Hispanic pro illegal activist or a public official.

By the way DJ: The entire board of supervisors should be put into receivership dor not having ensured adequate auditing of ALL county departments for so many years. Who knows what else is lurking out the in the various county departments? I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the county hospital is just as bad.

D.J. Diebold, and the Latino Caucus Phoenix Democrats, seek Sheriff Joe Arpaio resignation . . . But “America's toughest sheriff” rejects any call to quit.

"They are all the open-borders people. The bottom line is they don't want me to enforce illegal-immigration laws," Sheriff Joe said. "I don't care what they say. My polls are very high. My public supports me."

"They are all the open-borders people”…….. That well describes D.J. Diebold.
