What are the ethical standards of hunting? For hunters to be so actively ignorant is understandable; they have been able to bamboozle the public for generations. Morons, bullies, and brutes are trapping and baiting millions of innocent animals for sports, trophies, heritage. None of their lamebrain excuses should ever be taken seriously by anyone.
Luring animals to their slaughter for what — the hunters’ perverted rights?
Citizen tax dollars are being used to support not only just hunting, but the teaching of children to hunt. What can possibly be educational about killing animals with high-powered weapons and, really, by what twisted sense of reality does such an act of terror possibly come with ethical standards? Sports hunting needs to be abolished. We all need to be warriors in the battle to save all animals, the environment, and the general public from the silent economy that encourages and preys on the passion of a few to kill the wildlife that is cherished by all. Without public notice, hunters are able to hunt on animal refuges that are used by families to enjoy the wilderness. (What insanity?) Animal refuges are to protect wildlife, not to exploit wildlife.
When it comes to managing the environment, our knowledge is inadequate to do an even passable job. Even given an ethically sound motivation, which the state agencies now lack, we simply don’t know enough to do a better job than nature.
