The old adage is that coaches are hired to be fired. Alvin Gentry has been a class individual, coach and a credit to his profession. The Suns are in a very bad place right now.
Gentry takes his share of the blame along with the players, management and ownership. A sad state for a championless but still storied franchise.

Later in the season, I wouldn't be surprised to see stacks of tickets sitting for free on the counter of Circle Ks like they had in the 70s. They are going to have a lot of empty seats to fill. Firing Dan Majerle- really? What's next, getting rid of Al McCoy? You might be the Seattle Suns in a few years........
