Who collects all the money from the commercials on television? Something is truly wrong with the television networks.
When TV first started, the networks would put on the shows and companies would buy time from the networks for commercials which were about every 12 minutes and the consumer could watch TV for free. Now we have to pay the TV provider, the TV provider has to pay the networks for each subscriber, companies still buy commercial time from the networks at an outrageous rate which now averages four minutes three times in an half hour. That means in a half hours time you are watching 12 minutes of commercials and only 18 minutes of the show. Of course if you are watching an hour show you can double the commercial time and if you watch a movie you can double it again. Then when you watch a sporting event you are watching more commercials. Why do we have to pay to watch commercials? Since the networks are getting paid to show the commercials we should get paid to watch them.
