I won't thank our legislative thugs for being forced to do what any humanoid with an ounce of sense would naturally do.

Restoring the life-saving, transplant funds to AHCCCS happened because of political pressure from the voters. Our legislature has the emotional maturity of third graders and should be mortified they acted to deny life to those without recourse. As usual, our children are watching.

D.J. Diebold, Scottsdale/Mesa

D.J., I think you're being a bit unfair to third graders. This legislature has the emotions of a snake or scorpion, but certainly not of humans.

@Leon: please use your indoor voice. People don't listen to you if you shout all the time.

Again, critic D.J. Diebold writes his usually unfavorable (negative) criticism of Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer's administration and Republican lawmakers.

As part of a controversial bid to trim the state's soaring spending on Medicaid and balance a yawning state fiscal deficit, Gov. Brewer cut transplant coverage to around 100 people last year. The issue stirred months of controversy.

Brewer's Medicaid Reform Plan has now restored funding for pancreas, liver, heart and lung transplants, among others, to patients aged 21 and older who receive Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).

Let's give credit where credit is due. It took a Michigan State legislator writing to Governor Brewer to show her how to find this funding for transplants.

    Thank you Michigan.

Dear Leon, You must be one of those Republicans who only hear what they want to and never let the truth enter your ears. This is the biggest thing wrong with our country today. None of you really seem to care about the truth. You just repeat year after year what your daddy taught you growing up. Try looking at things the way they really are.

I'm not a Democrat. If people have the time available to post comments then I'm pretty sure they have the time to do the research to find the truth. Most comments made on Fox News and by Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh are not true. They will say anything they want to stir up controversy to increase their ratings. People need to search for the truth, that is if they care about the truth. I think most people are just using the same tactics as the Republican politicians when they said they would do anything necessary to make President Obama fail. This is not a game, folks. The laws passed in Congress affect our lives.
