All kinds of charges are flying about the conduct of MCSO under Joe Arpaio, largely because an enormous pile of evidence has already accumulated over the years which must now be explained. A lot of people want to know who is to blame, and the answer, ultimately, is that you are. You, the voting citizens of Maricopa County, including myself, are responsible for every action Joe Arpaio has taken in our name.

The rape and molestation of women and children as young as two are your responsibility. You chose not to investigate them.  The violent deaths of three — soon to be four — inmates in our county jails rests with you as well. The blood of these victims as well as hundreds of others who survived the beatings and tasers is on your hands. The humiliation of thousands of detainees, some arrested and not yet convicted, others falsely detained and later released, some forced to sign documents and confessions which they did not comprehend, are yours because your attitude has been, “They are just Hispanics and criminals who deserve everything that happens to them.”

You have harassed, accused, and arrested your political enemies, including judges, county workers, and commissioners whom you, yourselves, elected. You allowed the chief deputies to bully their subordinates and raise campaign funds while on duty. It is you who have squandered hundreds of millions of your own tax dollars and stand ready to lose hundreds of millions more through misfeasance, malfeasance, and legal costs.

The reputation you have brought to your county and state as being a majority of poorly educated bigots, defiantly holding up to the cameras your revered leader of belligerence and buffoonery, is well deserved.  Yet, you ponder why businesses won’t come here.

Yes, Joe Arpaio is your responsibility and your fault. You elected him. You cheer at his rallies. You donate to his $20 million campaign war chest. You defend him in front of cameras, on talk radio shows, and in the pages of this newspaper. So did I the first two times he was elected, and I own up to making the initial mistake of helping to get this debacle started. But I will no longer take ownership of this chaos going forward. I will never vote for him again, and neither should you.

Ron Weitbrecht

Yes, we voting Americans take credit and great pride in reelecting Sheriff Arpaio again and again. Thank you for pointing that out.

Wow...this must be the 20th "Letter to the Editor" slamming Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

To quote this "Letter Writer" ..."The rape and molestation of women and children as young as two are your responcibility"................where is your proof?

When you look at the "Rape Statistics from 2002-2010" in the ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFTEY REPORTS = 257 rapes occurred in the jurisdiction of the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.
1349 Rapes occurred in the City of Mesa during the years 2002-2010.

IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME...CLICK ON..."ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY'S 2002,2003,2004,2005,2006,2007,2008,2009 AND 2010 "CRIME IN ARIZONA" REPORTS.

Folks this is the same....LETTER TO THE EDITOR "CAMPAIGN" THAT THE MORMONS, THE CATHOLICS, THE HISPANIC ACTIVISTS, THE DEMOCRAT PARTY OF ARIZONA (ALL FROM CALIFORNIA BY THE WAY) BIG-SHOTS USED AGAINST...............RUSSELL PEARCE...THE "FATHER" OF SB 1070.

THESE GROUPS WANT TO ABOLISH ...SB1070 AND SUBSTITUTE THE ...."UTAH COMPACT" THAT GIVES AMNESTY AND DRIVING LICENSES TO THE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF MEXICAN ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINALS WHO ARE IN ARIZONA.

    67% OF AMERICANS SUPPORT ...SB1070
62% OF ARIZONA VOTERS SUPPORT ...SB 1070
61% OF MARICOPA COUNTY VOTER SUPPORT.....SHERIFF JOE ARPAIO...."THE TOUGHEST ANTI-ILLEGAL ALIEN SHERIFF IN AMERICA".

Yes we Arizona voters keep Joe Arpaio in office.

And we are very proud of it!

And we will vote him in again.

    And again.

    And again.

As long as he wants to – – – he can stay.

If you invading alien lovers don't like it I suggest you find somewhere else to live.

    Try Mexico City or Tijuana.

On yes, go to the hospital and have a baby there too. And try to leave without paying the bill. And demand English and all signs, and in all of literature put out by the state you are living in.

And put a big American flag decal on the back window of your car, and fly the American flag as you march down the street demanding rights.

Tell them you don't need no stinking papers. Tell them where to stick their citizenship application. Demand to drive without a license or insurance.

Yes indeed sir, Sheriff Arpaio is here to stay as long as he wants.

There are many more patriotic American citizens then there are invading alien lovers.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio is the self-proclaimed toughest lawman in the United States. But, Liberal Randy Parraz, who led the Pearce recall, now says, “He is no longer fit to be the top law enforcement officer of this county.” And it looks like Ron Weitbrecht is listening to Parraz.

Like Parraz, and other “Open Border” activists, Weitbrecht is not interested in finding a sheriff who'd do a better job at enforcing the immigration laws, hunting illegal immigrants, and doing it constitutionally . . . just the opposite.

Sheriff Joe, the five-term boss of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office in Phoenix wants another four years and has announced he'll run for a sixth term as sheriff in the November election.

    Accuracy,

If you're upset with Randy for saying Joe Arpaio "is no longer fit to be the top law enforcement officer of this county,” then you'll hate me. I have maintained since meeting Joe pretty much face to face in a Federal Courtroom earily in his first term that Sheriff Joe was never fit to be a sheriff! Joe lacks balance. His scales of justice are tilted. It's all about Joe!

"Business won't come here"............DO YOU READ THE NEWSPAPER....DO YOU WATCH THE LOCAL NEWS ???

Company after company after company are flooding into Arizona because the Republicans in the Legislature and our Republican Governor Jan Brewer have made Arizona the #1 Business Friendly State in the Nation.

Go back to Arizona Democrat Party Headquarters, your Parish priest or your Bishop and get some real ......"talking points"...instead of re-hashing the ones that they handed out to your for the .....Russell Pearce Re-Call Letter Writing Campaign.

Yes, Dale Whiting…. “Sheriff Joe” is not is not afraid of Liberal Randy Parraz, and certainly not afraid of you, as he runs for a sixth term as Maricopa County sheriff in the November election.

Joe Arpaio is 79 years old and he openly admits that he does not know what is going on around him. Joe could be having conversations with his Chief Deputy, Hendershott for example, on a daily basis about criminal activity within the ranks of his Chief Deputy’s command and Joe would swear on a stack of Bibles that he simply forgets what anybody says. Joe Arpaio is such a snake, he testified that he did not read all of his ‘Toughest Sheriff’ book, even though the book is sold with Joe as the author.

You are correct Ron, it is the voters fault!

' “They are just Hispanics and criminals who deserve everything that happens to them.” '

Yawn....., another RACE CARD blogger strikes again.

I have no problem taking responsibility for my actions. However, expecting anyone to take responsibility for another person's actions just isn't a very logical thought.

By the way Sheriff Joe, I'll be voting for you YET AGAIN in the next election. Also, I won't mind proving my citizenship, if needs be, to vote.....
