Immigration is not just an issue of current concern and divisivness, it is and has been as America’s political interests play to populations that gave political advantage to political parties.

That is not what immigration was ever intended to become.

Our nation’s conglomerate peoples may have been encouraged by economic, an opportunity to become free of the political military governments in the rest of the world.

orfor the sake of choseing to make their own way in life and saw America as the place to try it.

Today’s world includes a vast host of challenges to our immigration service. There are legal and illegal people desiring their “own personal opportunities” or “opportunists from criminal and illegal organizations? preying upon American citizens, business, industry, government resources at the expense of this Nations compassion for the unfortunates as well as the most desired of other nation’s best and talented. To be sure all are equally eligible, and for those who want that accomplished now there is immediate political advantage to respond to 11 million illegal people in the United States of America. An issue brought upon us by the very political powers who will propose the way to solve it, created by passing the buck for many years.

This is no longer a game ball for political manipulation. but for the enforcement of the laws, so long by passed. It might be said that not only did the 11 million illegal immigrants gamble with their futures, so did the United States Congresses. only you are accountable for it.

What we are seeing now is the "pimping" of America's greatest treasure, "Citizenship" to Illegal Alien criminals who are breaking the Law every day that they are living on American Soil.

President Obama and the Democrats are pimping American Citizenship for votes.

The Churches are pimping American Citizenship for money in the collection tray and for tithes.

The Socialists, Liberals, Marxist, Anarchists and Commie Wanna-Be's are pimping American Citizenship to destroy Capitalism.

Then we have the most shameful of them all, the R.I.N.O.'s (Republicans In Name Only) who are actually "Conservative Democrats" but are willing to sell out the Republican Party and their constituents for office.

Leon: you conveniently left out all the business owners ( mostly Republicans ) who HIRE the invading aliens.

They want illegal labor cause they can make them work illegal hours for illegal wages and under illegal working conditions.

Businessmen are the MONEY behind the pro-illegal movement.

Without their money --- the pro-illegals would not get all the publicity and would not have the media on a 24 hours non-stop barrage of pro-illegal propaganda.

I want to know what the "golden" date will be for the illegals to qualify for their green cards and a place at the back of the line. What is the cut-off date? What date at which no more illegals will be able to get a card or a place in line. Will that date be 10 years ago, 5 years ago, next week or will it be someday down the road? Or maybe the open border crowd will never allow a "golden" date be established. This administration, along with other administrations have not enforced our immigration laws so what makes you think that they will enforce any new immigration reform laws. It's all about voters for who ever is in power.

Inequality in America has reached it's highest since before the Depression, and it's "squelching our recovery." Politicians talk about inequality and our "sluggish" recovery as separate phenomena, but the two are inextricable linked while the top 1% get richer, today's middle-class Americans are making less, adjusted for inflation, than they were in 1996. They're two-cass-strapped to invest in education or new businesses, and their improverishment means lower tax receipts for the government, which can't afford to spend on the infrastructure and research we need to foster growth. The hollowing out of the middle class has especially hurt those born poor, who "are likely never to live to their potential." More than a fifth of our children live in poverty, ranking us behind Bulgaria, Latvia, and Greece. Inequality has become American's "beleaguering malady," and we can't recover unless we have policies that address it head on. The New York Times

chatmandu002: I have discovered that you can't have more than 5 paragraphs. Several times the spam filter has refused my posts and I just kept consolidating paragraphs without removing any words and when I got it into 5 paragraphs it would take it.

Hmmm. Republicans are the ones who want illigal immigration (in Willie's eyes), but the Democrats are the ones pushing for it. This is all just a devious cabal. Here is something, why not secure the border, like really secure the border. Create a more streamlined version of legal immigration and let all those here apply like everyone else. Then, like in country's that want to control their own destiny, decide when you have enough unskilled labor and shut off the spicket. As anyone can see, when you have people standing around on street corners, you probably have too much unskilled labor. Problem solved.
