The election in two weeks really is a North vs. South election. Obama wins the union states and Romney will pick up the confederate states forcing a tie in the Electoral

College. All the southern states will swing to Romney in a big way. He will get 80 percent to 85 percent of the white southern vote potentially allowing him to win the popular vote. Nationally, Romney will win the white vote at 60 percent plus or minus one or two points. But he needs to win 65 percent of the white vote to win the electoral vote and thus the election. Obama is going to win because the auto bailout gives him all the northern states except for Indiana. Using his northern advantage, he blunts Romney’s southern victory. The West breaks the tie. Forget about Ohio and Florida being the swing states; Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado will give this election to Obama. The Latino vote is the decisive factor and it is breaking Obama’s way 70 percent to 25 percent nationally and has even larger advantage in the West.
