I read this morning where Bashas’ got caught mis-labeling meat as one or more grades higher than what it actually is.

Apparently they can prove that Bashas’ stole over $1.4 MILLION from customers doing this.

The article said they decided NOT to file criminal charges because Basha’s co-operated with the investigation.

Well, isn’t that nice. If you are a big rich company you can steal $1.4 million and not get charged.

But some poor guy robs a convenience store and gets $120 and they give him 20 years. They don’t give him a break because he cooperates and hands the money back and admits he did it.

Read the history of the French Revolution, folks.

We are on the way to duplicating it here.

Whoever decided not to charge Bashas’ should face criminal charges himself. I wonder how big the bribe was, or do they call it a “campaign contribution?”
