Sunday’s letter from Bill Frankenberg made me nauseous. He thanks Russell Pearce for not being afraid to “stand up.” It’s what he stands for that disgusts fair-minded people.

No, Bill, we are NOT being overrun by illegals. The per capita crimes by illegals is statistically even with all citizens. Your rant is typical of fear-mongering, stereotypical blather. In the future, take the time to do some research. The data is out there. You and Mr. Pearce are two peas in a pod; one rife with fear and ignorance.

Wow, talk about rants! Diebold, your "the sky is falling" hysterical letters are well known here. Don't stand still too long as there are 2 men in white suits with a large butterfly net looking for you!

Priceless. Evidently "fair-minded" people are those who look the other way when people break into the country. We are not be overrun by illegals- maybe so, but there are places all over the valley where illegals congregate on the sides of the road next to people's homes looking for work. My guess is people in those areas would beg to differ. The argument on per capita crimes is silly. How does an illegal work without a stolen identity? Unless they are taking cash under the table and paying no taxes. Details details

I had to take a friend to the Main street DES office this morning. There was a constant chatter of Spanish throughout the building. The strollers were full and there were a number of bulging bellies ready to download and collect welfare for the next 18 years. I would say we definitely have a problem Houston.

You’re right D.J. The rampant display of Hispanophobia shown by so many red-neck morons who support the likes of Pearce is an indicator of why we can’t solve our problems here in AZ. Pearce personifies what makes AZ last in education and first in national ridicule. When they need to find a reason for problems, these minions look at others when they should be looking in a mirror.

As for Pearce; he’s just a self serving bigot taking everything he can get for free and never taking responsibility for the results.

Next thing you know, we’ll have to put spittoons in the comment section to accommodate all the good ol’ boys slapping each other on the back in their shared celebration of ignorance.

Yes, everyone knows that illegal aliens are just here to work in jobs that no one else will take. They would never except welfare, foodstamps and or use the emergency rooms for free as their primary physician. No no. It is all upside for the good ole USA. An economic growth engine to be sure. Just weird how Republicans keep winning control of the legislature year after year when clearly the "fair minded" people disagree with anti illegal actions.

Hey sockpuppets, no one (not even Pearce), has mentioned Hispanics. Why do you liberals always pull the race card? Illegals come from many countries and consist of many nationalities. Please seek professional help for your racist based hatred OK?

Sadslide; this is cut and pasted from Pearce’s commentary - Appeals court imposing its own agenda posted Saturday, April 16, 2011:

“disapproval of the Mexican government,” “the government of Bolivia,” “Cuba is also a member,” “Bolivia and Venezuela,” “Bolivian President Evo Morales,” “all Latin American nations,” “Venezuela's dictator Hugo Chavez,” “our relations with Mexico,” “The Mexican government,” “Guide for the Mexican Migrant,” “Mexico President Felipe Calderon,” “Mexico does not stop at its border,” “wherever there is a Mexican, there is Mexico,” “against undocumented Mexican workers,” “United States v. Vasquez-Alvarez,” “Gonzales v. City of Peoria.”

Did you just miss that or are you a victim of the Republican education system? Just asking. It sounds pretty much like there are a few “Hispanic” references there.

Race was seldom mentioned when the southern states enforced the Jim Crow laws either. It was part of the overall bias that was understood by the Crackers that supported the de facto environment. It’s also understood by their equivalents here and now. Leon and Samkat are just examples of those who aren’t smart enough to imply with a wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

From Leon on April 20; IS THIS WHERE WE ..."PRESS 1 FOR ENGLISH....PRESS 2 FOR SPANISH" ???
From Samkat on April 20; “There was a constant chatter of Spanish throughout the building.“
