Agree with you Bill, Paul Babeu got support of the only democrat Matt Heinz. Arizonans are asking why? Paul Babeu should come out and say the truth, he stayed the night over Matt's in Tucson on April first. Is that professionalism, pride, honest to get support from legislature? This is a serious issue how Babeu gets support. Public should know the real interests
Facts2,The sheriff from Pinal County seems to have gained considerable favor with the legislature at the detriment to the rest of law enforcement in Arizona.
Americaneagle1, well stated comment. I couldn't agree more with what you stated. How any American could disagree is a measure of both our education system and how much the disease of socialism as spread throughout our country. God Bless America.
Catching criminals, deterring lawbreaking illegal immigrants, smugglers, stopping the job takers is law enforcement. If I know an officer is patrolling a certain area I go a different direction. The smugglers have look out points, so does law enforcement. America has 20 to 50 million illegals in this country. Could it be because some law enforcement were sleeping, or that those spreading the philosophy of open borders and not enforcing immigration laws. I am for American workers, not foreign illegal workers. I am for enforcing the immigration law. I like Paul Babeu and staff. I am informed on Illegal immigration, it's a huge problem, a critical problem eating away America. Illegals destroyed many industries. How would you like to have your industry devastated by millions of illegals going after your job. Illegals and smugglers ruined many families, ruined many occupations- roofing, tile, landscaping, construction. Sick of all this I want America back. The statistics on illegals costs to USA are mind boggling - please join groups stopping illegal immigration. CAPS, ALIPAC, NUMBErsusa.
"Smaller Government", "Spending Cuts", "Eliminating earmarks", "Union busting".
Seems Babeu didn't get the TEA party's memo. Where's their outrage?
This anti-Sheriff Paul Babeu is just another in the never-ending Letters to the Editor, Columns and Vents from the Anti-SB 1070, Pro-Illegal Alien Amnesty duo...."The Laurel and Hardy" of the "Babeu, Arpaio, Pearce, Adams, Brewer, Thomas and Horne.....HATERS".
We should expect to see these "TWO" on the next...tax-payer supported Ultra-Liberal PBS-ASU Channel 8, KAET...."HORIZON" TV Show spewing their .....INVECTIVES.
Sheriff Babeu and Sheriff Arpaio are on the front line because Sheriff Dumbdick allows illegals to pass through Pima country. Both of those sheriffs deserve a lot of credit and support for the difficult job they're both doing. God love these two real American patriots.
Cerulean: Did you use flamboyant means to describe said person? I was "alluding", so in essence what you did is still name calling....
Mr.666Gun-toting is a verb; it describes a state of being. It is not a noun. Hyper- paranoid also describes a state of being. Did the man in the story tote a gun - yes. Was the man in the story “scared” – yes. Is the man hyper – paranoid? He is if he totes a gun.
So, "Alfred E. Babeu" is a mixture between Sheriff Paul Babeu and Alfred E. Newman? Gee, where does one sign up for Mind Reading courses? Of course only you would understand such an esoteric reference, since you were the one that created it. In any event, did as you requested, and here's the search results.
Google search for "Open Border".
Google search for "fetches the rubes".
Gee Rich, perhaps if you provide the link, it may help narrow the search. Most people that are trying to prove their point will provide the link. Of course, this would be counter to your true desires.
The FACTS remain in chronological order, despite the tripe you wrote in an attempt to confuse the issue. Your FIRST RESPONSE was:
"Dale Carnegie, been trying for a month to slip an allusion by you." Is that the best answer that an educated man can come up with? Why not use the term "joke" instead of "Polish joke" (Two times, now). Couldn't that be construded as racist comment? Isn't the word "joke" sufficient enough to get your point across? Maybe you should educate yourself some more by reading this:
Misterrogue666: Joe Guzzardi's column IS actually among those visible on the Immigration section page: http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/arizona/immigration
--"Sensational? In what way?" It was a T.V. story. Ordinary doesn't get on T.V. Any T.V. news is sensational, it is the only reason for it.
--Granted this was a statement: 'As it stands, I'm still curious as to what specific statement I made that YOU consider "name calling".' If you're a relatively cultured person, "Alfred E. Babeu" would be. If you're not 'open border' "fetches the rubes" (and that is a quote, look it up).
--'"So, you DON'T name call?" Hah! Here's a DIRECT QUOTE of YOURS: "Leon, No Vendetta. just calling an idiot, an idiot. I know I shouldn't and that it rarely wins friends and influences people, but some things are just too obvious."'
Where's the name? Leon? Vendetta? The rest is a rather complicated metaphor that alludes to a famous book and a school of philosophy called, variously, successism, secret of success, EST, and numerous other names, but basically teach sales techniques as 'self-help.' EST for example is a concentrated seminar in which the audience gets an intensive sales course which was mostly pirated from Kirby Vacuum Cleaner's sales classes. The allusion has nothing to do with name calling unless you have the education and culture to understand that, yes I alluding to the fact that Babeu is a total fraud and phony, but I did not call him that directly as the propaganda technique would have called for.
As I said, posting on these boards is like telling a Polish joke, somebody always wants it explained.
Well, Bill can count! Looks like avoiding a debate isn't his only skill, if one can call that a skill.
Bill is CORRECT! Arrests are the lowest they have been in years. Here's the stats from USBP's Southwest Border (mentioned in said article).
There's a great deal of conjecture as to exactly why. Economy, increased (BUT NOT COMPLETED) Border Security, perhaps they've established routes not as heavy patrolled (Cartels have been know to adapt), all of the forementioned, et al. The problem Bill, is that it won't remain that way as long as the border is porous.
If/When our economy starts to climb again, or if KING Obama keeps allowing ALL "Non criminal" (In HIS MIND, mind you) ILLEGAL ALIENS to stay in the USA, the flood will be back once again. What I found interesting is the stats for Yuma and San Diego. If I recall correctly, the triple fence (ONLY 300 miles of it, by the way) in Yuma, was completed sometime in 2008 (http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/2008/03/31/20080331yuma-wall0331-ON.html). From an article I read about San Diego's fence (14 miles), it was STARTED back in 1996, taking about 10 years to complete (due to lawsuits, et al). (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5323928).
Check the numbers. The LARGEST DECREASE is where major fences have been built.
Yuma fence STARTED Oct 2006 (not completed) Total caught in Yuma 2006: 118,549. Within ONE YEAR, that number dropped to 37,992.
San Diego, started 1996 (by 2004 only 9 miles completed). Total caught 1996: 483,815, Total caught in 1997: 283,889. Total caught 2004: 138,608
Another interesting fact was that San Diego's fence was STARTED during the height of the ILLEGAL ALIEN FLOOD (the late 1990's), and even though it wasn't completed until nearly a decade later, it had a MAJOR affect.
Thanks Bill, for bringing this info to my attention.....
I wonder why this article isn't in the "Immigration" section.
Questions asked of Rich:
--"Sensational? In what way?"
--Granted this was a statement: 'As it stands, I'm still curious as to what specific statement I made that YOU consider "name calling".'
--'"So, you DON'T name call?" Hah! Here's a DIRECT QUOTE of YOURS: "Leon, No Vendetta. just calling an idiot, an idiot. I know I shouldn't and that it rarely wins friends and influences people, but some things are just too obvious."'
Here's Rich's FIRST STATEMENT after my questions:
Dale Carnegie, been trying for a month to slip an allusion by you."
Help me out here, was that an answer to ALL my questions, or just one of those I listed above?
This is a good story by Brady McCombs. It tells the real story. Not the story told by Babeu, Arpaio and Pearce.
Immigrant arrests nearing 40-year low
"Notice how Rich refuses to answer direct questions? Notice how he did not admit that he IS GUILTY of "name calling"?"
Didn't refuse to answer anything at all, in fact answered and you changed the subject. 'Name-calling' as a technique of propaganda is to use a stereotypical name to characterize an argument, often as in your case, to change an argument from specific to stereotypical, as in 'open border', which assumes a great deal that was neither in the argument nor in the view point you were facing. To 'call an idiot an idiot" is an allusion to Dale Carnegie, which you should have gotten by 'win friends and influence people.' In short I don't want to be friends with, nor do I want to influence Paul Babeu. Not that I don't use a species of name calling occasionally, I do, as in 'Alfred E. Babeu' referring to his appearance, which recalls Mad Magazine's 'Alfred E. Newman.' But when I do it is neither blunt nor obvious. As in 'How does it affect the job Alfred E. Babeu iis doing as Sheriff of Pinal County that when went to Glendale with a big iron on your hip?' Or 'Discussing things in the EVT is rather like being trapped in a Polish joke in that no one gets it and they keep screaming for someone to explain it.'
Dale,"Maybe all of Babeu's spending will help stimulate the economy."Yup, it will help stimulate Missouri's economy.[sad]
Congratulations to Officer Richardson. 35 comments is a record.
I was particularly amused to hear that Pinal County was on "the front lines." I do recall seeing Babeu walk along the border fense with Senator McCain who pledged to complete the "dang fense." Yet where McCain was in Arizona at the time but Babeu was not in Pinal County, I wondered why that scene was not shot in Pinal County? Oh, I forgot, Pinal County is no where near the border!
Politicians! Ya gotta love'm! Maybe all of Babeu's spending will help stimulate the economy. Should he seek an audience with President Obama?
Cerulean: Your statement: 'describes a hyper-paronoid gun toting ________ who has never actually seen an illegal; he has never actually been accosted, he just says “it’s scary.”' -- is YOUR OPINION. Unless you happen to a psychiatrist that is treating said person. And if your are, didn't you just break a code of ethics?
Rich mentioned name calling, let's apply that to your statement: 1. hyper-paronoid 2. gun toting ________. DO YOU live there 24/7? Then I again repeat that I would trust a person that has FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE. I'm trying to avoid any "allusions" here.
What's wrong with a person that wants to protect themself by EXERCISING THEIR RIGHT (2nd Amendment). Here's a person that carries a gun everyday, but has never had to use it. Do you think that maybe it's because the gun may be HIGHLY VISIBLE and that perhaps ILLEGAL ALIENS, et al, are looking for easier prey?
I always carry a weapon too. Once a gang in Glendale accosted my girlfriend and me while we were walking back to our car from a movie. There was seven of them, all with beer bottles, and the leader made a snide little comment. My reply was to turn with my gun pointing at the ground between him (and the rest of the gang) and myself, with two spare clips ready in my other hand. After his eyes got as big a tea saucers, and his jaw hit the ground (OK, a slight exaggeration), I asked him "Is there a problem?" He dropped his bottle, raised his opened hands and said "NO" several times. I told him that was good, and that they should leave, which they did. Any of them that would have started an aggressive movement would have been shot. I don't point a weapon at anyone unless I intend to use it. I will only use it if I think my life, or anothers, is in danger.
I've also been threatened more than once by supporters of ILLEGAL ALIENS. Once guy said he would track my IP address and come visit me some night. I replied that I would look forward to that, because I would have no compunctions in ending his life since he choose to threaten me and my family thus.
Cops are always around when you need one. To borrow a quote: "In the field of observation, chance favors the prepared mind."
In regards to your first link, I did read the article, DID YOU? He EXPECTED that a conflict would occur. That DOESN'T MEAN one would. NO COP that I've talked to wants gunplay. His "allusion" was that the cartels are getting more aggressive, and gunplay will probably occur soon. I find it interesting that you "missed" important statements like:
1. "Last year in the eastern portion of Arizona's two sectors, which includes Phoenix and Tucson, the U.S. Border Patrol reported apprehending 241,000 illegal immigrants. However, the agency estimates there were an additional 400,000 illegal border crossers in this sector that were not caught, he said." -- That means for every ILLEGAL ALIEN CAUGHT, 1.66 got through. Or, close to half a MILLION ILLEGALS. Please note this info comes from the border patrol! Babeu stated that 20% (In true it could be higher or lower) already have criminal records, or 80,000 criminals. Many also have crossed the border more than ONCE, which means they then have COMMITTED A FELONY.
2. That ILLEGAL ALIENS coming from such as countries as Yemen, Somalia and Syria (Can you say possible terriorist?) occur as well.
3. "Drug seizures in Pinal County have more than doubled in the last two years, while the number of high-speed police pursuits rose from 142 in 2007 to 340 in 2010, he said." -- I wonder why you didn't mention this. Perhaps that's why he thinks armed conflict will occur soon. Can you say ESCALATION?
4. "The federal Bureau of Land Management has erected more than a dozen signs in Pinal County warning people to stay away from places designated as active drug and human smuggling areas where visitors might encounter armed criminals. Drug cartels have infiltrated the U.S. and have set up observation posts to ensure their shipments make it through, Babeu said." -- So the federal Bureau of Land Management is wrong as well?
I'm sure I could dig up more, but I think I've made my point. I feel like thanking you for helping me prove that you (and probably most other Pro supporters) only see what they want to see.
As for the timing, was he in charge of scheduling the event? Bill made a bill deal that the Sheriff brought all his friends, perhaps Babeu wanted to REWARD those under him for a job well done. Perhaps he thinks he should SHARE the HONOR of receive that NATIONAL AWARD with those under his command. Somewhat the opposite behavior that GASCON did.
I glanced at your other link, and stopped when I read: "Sheriff's officials say the funds were used in a manner allowable under statute." Sounds like discretionary funds to me. Do you really wish to deny those officers the reward which they were GIVEN and seemingly earned?
Oh, I forgot, only FOREIGN NATIONALS should be receiving entitlements, not US CITIZENS that risk their lives each and every day.
Notice how Rich refuses to answer direct questions? Notice how he did not admit that he IS GUILTY of "name calling"? Hard to respect a person's opinion when they've been caught in a lie, and won't fess up.
I understand you reference to Dale Carnegie, and I know what "allusion" means. Perhaps you should attempt to write/express yourself in a more clear and concise manner, because I'm not so sure what you've been trying to tell me "for a month". Unless the "allusion" is that you condemn others for actions that you are guilty of yourself. I use different words to describe that scenario.
As it stands, I'm still curious as to what specific statement I made that YOU consider "name calling". Please stop using "smoke and mirrors" to try and get away from a statement you seem not to be able to support.
Ok MRrich, you're just too high brow for me I guess. Maybe if you try talking at the human level we could better understand you. I'm sure being from mars will make that difficult, but try to make the effort. I'm sure itt will be rewarding for you.
Dale Carnegie, been trying for a month to slip an allusion by you.
Utterly breathtaking. You totally missed every allusion, every metaphor, what does it mean when 'Masterrogue666' talks to 'Rich'? Read a few more books, and a little less Internet.
Bill Richardson, Thank-you, for writing the column.
Mr. 666, your link describes a hyper-paronoid gun toting ________ who has never actually seen an illegal; he has never actually been accosted, he just says “it’s scary.”
On another note, in mid May this is what Babeu had to say:“"We're expecting a conflict," Babeu told the Ahwatukee Republican Women's organization at the Grace Inn,. . . "I absolutely believe you're going to see that happen in the next 30 to 60 days. It's not like I'm trying to start a war with the cartels.” (see: http://www.ahwatukee.com/news/article_865ed5d8-2b14-11e0-98a6-001cc4c002e0.html)Just when this “conflict” should have begun already, Babeu takes all his friends on an all-expense paid trip to St. Louis. “Records show about half of the trip was paid by court fees given to the Sheriff's Office to improve county jails. The other half came from seized cash and property meant to fund investigations and prosecutions.” http://www.azcentral.com/community/pinal/articles/2011/08/28/20110828rico-jail-funds-used-travel.html
Forgot to mention, you have to "click" on "Recent Comments":
Rich: Sensational? In what way? I take it that Rich's article isn't sensationalism either? Perhaps you can explain why he supported GASCON when GASCON berated his rank and file men when a lieutenant GAVE ORDERS to said men. If he had a problem, he should have berated the LT and NOT the rank and file. Chain of command is a simple process. But, Rich has yet to "express" his opinion in that specific area.
So, you DON'T name call? Hah! Here's a DIRECT QUOTE of YOURS:
No Vendetta. just calling an idiot, an idiot. I know I shouldn't and that it rarely wins friends and influences people, but some things are just too obvious."
(From your comment to Samkat about 19 hrs ago. I'm sure I'd find more if I kept looking: http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/users/profile/rich/)
Besides, I didn't think claiming that you are a know stating you are: "a KNOWN ILLEGAL ALIEN supporter" is name calling. Actually, it's a statement of fact. I again refer to just about any blog you made a comment on when regarding immigration for proof. Or perhaps you didn't like my observation that it's more "sane" to trust the word of a person that lives in the area in question rather than a person that CLAIMS to hunt occasionally in the area.
It's funny that you'd mention Senator Pearce, you make NO MENTION about President Obama's REFUSAL to deport ONLY ILLEGAL ALIENS that have committed felonys ("dangerous" types), and not ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS. The MAJORITY of ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS have ILLEGALLY CROSSED the border more than once. According to FEDERAL LAW, ANYONE that crosses MORE THAN ONCE has committed a FELONY. That's not including those ILLEGAL ALIENS that USED SSN's of AMERICAN CITIZENS (Forged documents, isn't that a felony?) to get work. I'll bet that if you ask a person that has had their id stolen they'd consider it dangerous to allow said person to remain in the states.
One (of the many) requirements for a person to become a citizen of the USA is: "Good moral character and an affinity for the principles of the U.S. Constitution." In order words, those that cross the border ILLEGALLY DO NOT HAVE "Good moral character".
I have no problem allowing more persons to people LEGAL RESIDENTS/LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. However, when you grant amnesty to MILLIONS of people that have IGNORED our laws/requirements, it's like spitting in their face of those that are currently waiting, as well as those that EARNED their citizen previously. What would be FAIR is have those ILLEGAL ALIENS fess up and come forward, "get in line", and EARN WHAT THEY STOLE!!!!
Regan granted amnesty once, and that was suppose to end the problem. However, as I expected, many FOREIGN NATIONALS saw that as an opportunity to circumvent the process, and that's why now we are FLOODED by ILLEGAL ALIENS. The status quo doesn't work. Additional rules and regs are needed AND SHOULD BE ENFORCED.
Finally, those of Mexican ancestry get the lion's share of LEGAL IMMIGRATION, even though Mexico is within the top ten of richest countrys in the world. Does that sound fair?
Rich, do you also feel that bank robbery, extortion, and kidnapping are federal crimes that should be handled at the federal level as well as illegal immigration? I see, you aren't really an illegal immigrant advocate. You advocate they all be given documentation the moment they illegally cross the border. Shall we give them all our jobs and what the heck lets just give them the country and go back to Europe? Thank God for Senator Pearce and others that are making your pipe dream just a really bad unachievable dream. Oh and accusing others of name calling then referring to Masterrouge666 as MR666 isn't name calling? Kind of an MR sort of thing for you to do.
A sensational TV story? Please it's not even journalism. I wonder if you and NBTT can refrain from name calling and discuss something? Is that possible? I do not advocate or support illegal immigration, or even undocumented aliens. I would really rather all non-citizens in the USA be properly and completely documented. However a highly incompetent federal bureaucracy and of bunch of loose cannons such as Senator Pearce make that a bit of a pipe dream. If you are going to solve the problem, which you make so much of but is really a bit of a vaguely humorous scam, you start by electing people to go to Washington D.C. reform, streamline and eliminate the inefficiency in the Federal bureaucracy, and you vote the disruptive and counter-productive demagogues out of office, Anything else is just a theater of the absurd, witness Mr. Richardson's column and the reaction.
Rich: I did a quick search about Vekol Valley, and here's an article I found:
I think I'll believe someone that LIVES THERE 24/7, as opposed to a KNOWN ILLEGAL ALIEN supporter that CLAIMS he has hunted in the area for years and never has had any problems. I think you'll find most sane people think that way.
Rich: I noticed that you have no comment against Leon Ceniceros's post of Sept 2 detailing the many incidents involving drugs, ILLEGAL ALIENS, or both. It's kind of hard to debate against something when the FACTS are there for everyone to see.
MtMichael: When you state something like: "goodbye. please don't call me anymore." Isn't that the same as trying to take away your opponents RIGHT to Freedom of Speech? Are you that afraid to debate in an open forum? Why should only you get a say, but no one else? Why do MOST ILLEGAL ALIEN supporters have the same attitude? These are questions I've been asking for years, yet still haven't received an answer.
Bill: Still ignore my (and others bloggers) requests, eh? You make a statement, then make further statements in the blogs themselves. However, you IGNORE and don't answer direction questions asked of you? What's the matter, afraid to debate with those that disagree with you? By your actions, you are similar to MtMichael in that you get a say (sometimes more than one), but only worse because you refuse to debate. That fact speaks volumes about your personal character, where you loyalties lie. THANK YOU for not answering, and proving both chatmandu002 and my points.
Twenty years ago, I wasn't that concerned about the ILLEGAL ALIEN problem. Most Americans were the same way. However, the proof in there if one has an opened mind, and is willing to find out the facts for themselve. Personally, I'd love it if the USA could help ALL THE PEOPLE in the entire world. However, we simply do not have those resources. So, play the race card/nazi card all you want. The TRUTH is that it's an ECONOMICS card, and John Q Public has become VERY AWARE of that fact.
Not really, since it's a federal responsibility, I expect it to be handled that is why I pay Income Tax (of course I do admit I'm almost in a minority there). State officials who try are basically demagogues who are breaking the law (the Constitution) and I feel about them as I would about anyone openly breaking the law. Let alone it opens rather than closes the border by preventing a unified course of action.
Calling someone 'open border' or 'pro illegal alien' is like saying 'Nazi' just a little later on in history. Name calling, like your 'scapegoating' is an old propaganda trick. With the name you seek not to answer an argument. The name isn't especially important, the lack of reasoning behind it is.
Rich, you and several other open border, pro illegal alien advocates have a vendetta against anyone who seeks to protect our borders. Especially Bill Richardson.
MtMichael, well someone had to bring Nazi's into the debate thanks. That is all I want to hear from you again. Happy Nazi/race card slinging.
Rich I don't fantasize about the problem, I can see it, and it's not just the drug dealers that are ripping us off.
On Thursday, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration released a report revealing that the Internal Revenue Service doled out $4.2 billion in refundable tax credits to illegal alien in 2010.
The refunds were given in the form of the so-called ‘earned income child tax credits,’ which are designed to alleviate the tax burden on low income wage earners with children.
alright nbtt, i'm certainly not going to go t__t for tat or back and forth with you here. that's obviously a pointless exercise. or rather, i should say, a pointless waste of time. you're more than welcome and have the absolute right to remain exactly where you are. NOWHERE MAN!
here's the oldest political trick in the book:
create a lie about a group that plays on a fundamental fear/anxiety (xenophobia) of another constituent group. tell that lie enough times and loud enough through you media accomplices and it starts growing legs. continue, and continue, and continue, and don't stop with the bombardment and you create a monster that only exists in the minds of those you want to manipulate who were unjustly afraid befor you even started this campaign.
hitler did that with the jewish population. it's happened here in the u.s.a. many times using the black population. most recently with ronald reagan and the conservative rush that's been slowly building in this country over that 40 year time span. and now there is the hispanic population. funny thing about it though is, those with all the wealth (conservatives) created this situation. they can't have their nevery ending windfall profits if they don''t have a free/cheap labor source. they can't pay americans the pennies they get away with paying our hispanic friends.
you didn't fall for that one again, did you nbtt?
goodbye. please don't call me anymore.
Vekol Valley every year. And as to idiots driving I-8, that's just the norm. Hey, live your own fantasy. Who am I to tell you you don't live in a James Bond world?
No Vendetta. just calling an idiot, an idiot. I know I shouldn't and that it rarely wins friends and influences people, but some things are just too obvious. I mean eight incidents in a year, and half of them set-ups? Gee, should I switch to a heavier arrow?
Thanks everyone for reading my column.
We are so sick and tired of this..... "VENDETTA"...against... PINAL COUNTY SHERIFF PAUL BABEU.
I went into another Local Newspaper's "Search" and typed in ..."VEKOL VALLEY". OUT OF THE 12+ MINI-GROUPS, I ONLY WENT THROUGH THE FIRST 3. HERE ARE THE ARTICLES..SORRY THEY ARE NOT IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER BUT IN THE ORDER CITED BY THE OTHER NEWSPAPER'S WEB SITE.

THIS IS THE FINE WORK THAT...PINAL COUNTY SHERIFF PAUL BABEU'S DEPUTIES ARE DOING IN THE VEKOL VALLEY, CASA GRANDE, ELOY AND FLORENCE AREAS. FOLKS, THESE ARE THE FACTS OF WHAT...SHERIFF PAUL BABEU IS DOING TO RID ARIZONA AND AMERICA OF MARIJUANA AND DRUG SMUGGLERS...AND I COULD GO ON AND ON LISTING THE INCIDENTS.
Rich: If you are hunting around the state prisons in Florance, you might not notice anything. Now if you were hunting south of I-8 in the Vekol Valley area, it might be a different story. Not too long ago, I was returning from Tucson and had a car pass me, weaving in and out of traffic and going like a bat out of hel*. Every so often, heads would pop up out of the back seat and look around. I stopped at the U.S. detention and was told that I would have to call the sheriffs department. Well, it was too late to do anything but I now have the PCSO and MCSO numbers programmed into my cell phone.
Bill: Where were your negative comments with the MANY THINGS that GASCON did wrong? I can name at least TWO THINGS that he did WRONG, but you supported his actions.
Your bias nature is readily apparent to anyone that has an open mind. Any official that wishes to support the fight against the flood of INVADING FOREIGN NATIONALS, there you are reporting whatever negative things you can find. If they are officials in support of allowing ILLEGAL ALIENS free reign, they can do no wrong! What's your position on Rose Willcox taking "loan" money from Chicanos Por La Causa?
And finally, when was the last time that YOU stayed at a Motel 6? The last time I stayed at one was over 10 years ago. There was DRUG DEALS going on in the parking lot as soon as the sun went down! The Sheriff and his members were receiving a REWARD for their service, why shouldn't they ENJOY themselves in somewhat better surroundings than Motel 6? If you don't think he should have received that money, then you should complain about those RESPONSIBLE for giving him the money! But I keep forgetting, those persons (like yourself) that support ILLEGAL ALIENS are like the ILLEGAL ALIENS themself: They don't believe in taking responsibility for their own actions. They just want everything handed to them on a silver platter, despite the FACT they ARE NOT citizens of the USA.
There's one thing I'd really like you to answer: Why do you wish to support them over your own countrymen/countrywomen?
Bill: Perhaps you should move to Pinal County, come out of retirement and run for Sheriff. Once elected, you can use your hands on experience to clean up that crime ridden county.
Hey Nothingbut the truth, maybe if you tell Pcso when the deputy was chasing the 25 illegals he was going 85 miles and did not catch them Maybe if PCSo tells the Sheriff to use Villar to chase them, she might have caught them. She goes 100miles unlike the deputy and that is Nothingbut the truth.
And just because you fantasize a Mexican drug dealer behind every bush, doesn't mean there is.
MtMichael and Rich, where's the third blind mouse lol Just because you can't or refuse to see the nose on your face doesn't mean it isn't there.
In the first place, the idea of Pinal County and Alfred E. Babeu as "... the front line of defense against the invasion" is just roll on the floor funny. I've hunted Pinal County, Javelina with a bow spot and stalk every year since 1990. I'd have probably noticed an invasion by now. This man is a total phony. If there actually was any kind of an invasion, about the only way he'd stop it is to cuff them while they're laughing too hard to stop him. And even then he'd probably need help. Good lord people there is a difference between theater and law enforcement.
PCSO, chat____, and hidingfromtheTruth, would you please take off your blinders. this false flag, this manufactured fear is merely a creation of your little xenophobic minds that was initiated by babeu and others who only want your tax dollars and any discretionary dollars you might have that they can induce you to give to them. lol
except the facts of reality as they are. this master police officer of more years in police experience that babeu has in adult years of experience is giving all the FACTS AND FIGURES that cannot be disputed. c'mon people, what are you gonna do play like and ostrich? lol
i may be on the wrong side of mr. richardson on this next comment, but law enforcement officers have entirely too much authority at their decretion that they routinely abuse. and clearly, babeu has done that many times over. he's so cocky because he knows he can get away with it because he knows you've willingly let him place a blindfold over your eye and allowed his to plug your ears.
bill richarson is giving you all more TRUTH than you all are use to hearing from "your god babeu".
look , you cannot refute richardsons' points, facts, statistics. don't even try to sell babeu's manufactured stats to me. the only reason you think they're accurate is because - fox and the few fox related news organs that disseminate this bogus information is all you allow yourself to be exposed to. yeah, i listen to fox, but i listen to many "professional" news gathering and disseminating pipelines.
yeah, it pays to have a broad and wide perspective about the things that go on in this world. oh yeah, in pinal county too. lol,lol
Pinal County Sheriff Babeu needs all the financial help and other help he can get because he is on the front line of defense against the invasion. Sheriff dumbdick would be but he lets them pass through his county.
A high-speed chase through rural Pinal County ends when the speeding driver of an SUV carrying about 25 suspected illegal immigrants gets stuck in a river bottom.
The Pinal County Sheriff's Office says a deputy tried to pull the SUV over Wednesday south of Eloy for a traffic violation.
When the SUV eventually stopped the passengers got out and fled into the desert.
Because of the heavy brush, deputies were unable to find the driver.
Evidence at the scene indicates the passengers are suspected of being in the Unites States illegally.
Border Patrol agents responded to assist locating the passengers.
Bill, congratulations on once more showing your contempt for real law enforcement, and you hatred of anyone willing to fight for Arizonans against this invasion of illegals. Tell us, are you married to an illegal or what? What exactly is it that makes you hate legal Arizonans so much?
Bill, Just admit it you hate republicans sheriffs. Nothing a republican sheriff does it right. How come I don't hear any criticism for a democrat sheriff like Dupnik. Just admit it your are a democrat and everything a republican sheriff does is wrong and everything a democrat sheriff does right.
I wonder if Babeu type Politics is one the reasons that AZ was listed as one of the worse places to live?[wink]
Bill writes his columns much like many at the Mesa Police Department used to remember how he would write his police reports. His columns only include facts which support his opinion no others. He wrote this one based off of information in an Arizona Republic article. The Arizona Republic has already corrected some of their mistakes. BIll used to and still does little work to try and determine actual facts when writing..
Lucy and Rich,
Thanks for taking the time to read my column and comment.
It has become rather obvious of late that the cartel Pinal citizens have to fear is neither drug related nor Mexican, but rather political and recently emigrated from Chandler.
Bill, Congratulations on writing the best article that I have seen yet on Sheriff Paul Babeu. You have exposed him for what he is, a selfish, lying sheriff that only cares about his own needs. He does not care about the Citizens of Pinal County and starts out as Sheriff of American with a poor example by spending 53,000 dollars just to see him get a award. Paul all his life has spend his parents money and never paid anything back and it is proven by looking up our poor mother who has Alzheimers and her name is in Bankruptcy court in AZ.. How dirty can Paul get, there is more to write on, I hope other reporters like you have the courage to stand up to my brother the Sheriff who will do anything illegal just to move up the ladder. Paul fools people with a hand shake and a smile. But, this is the most truthful article I have seen yet. Thank you Bill for your honesty to Pinal County. It is something Paul was elected to do, but it will never happen, he loves himself too much.Take care. Lucy Babeu
