The Tucson-Pima County area has led the state on many issues. What is sad here is that it took over 30 years to ignite here. It's welcomed. Let's get going.

Yet another Public Safety Program that East Valley citizens have SB 1070 to .....'THANK FOR".
Before now the hands of the Mesa, Phoenix and Chandler (all were "SANCTUARY CITIES") Police Department Officers' were tied when it came to "ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINALS FROM MEXICO AND POINTS SOUTH".
Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Speaker Adams, Senate President Pearce and Governor Brewer's courage in the face of almost insurmountable opposition in enacting SB 1070 which required... "ALL"...Arizona Law Enforcement Agencies to uphold "ALL" the Laws, Federal, City, County, and the State of Arizona.
"SANCTUARY CITY" Mayors and City Councils could not..."CHERRY-PICK"...which Laws their Police Officers would enforce......"ALL" Laws would be enforced.
Now this new East Valley Gang and Criminal Information Fusion Center can bring...."ALL" of these Laws to bear on Criminals...not just the "POLITICALLY CORRECT" ones.
Law Enforcement is again ...Law Enforcement.
Not ..."Some Law Enforcement"...or "Most Law Enforcement" but....once again as it was when I was growing up.............just plain every cotton-picking one....Law Enforcement.
God Bless each and every one of our Law Enforcement Police Officers and Deputies not only in our Great State of Arizona but all over our Great Nation. These men and women put their lives on the line every single day to make us safe from harm.

Bill,
It's Thursday, March 17th, and Japan is awash in nuclear fuel problems. Perhaps we need a word other than "Fusion." The problem in Japan is "Fision" not "Fusion" but the feeling is still the same!
