I have to respond to both H. William Fogle, Jr. and Larry J. Kluth's letters on Nov. 30, which are so full of lies that it's hard to decide where to begin.
First of all, Mr. Fogle, the Book of Mormon is NOT a myth, nor can you prove otherwise. The angel Moroni did, in fact, give the Gold Plates to Joseph Smith, and he translated them through the gift and power of God. I'd much rather have Romney as president than Barack Obama, who accuses this country of being arrogant, and also says we're not a Christian nation.
Secondly, Mr. Kluth, you cannot prove that God does not exist, because you have zero, zilch, nada - no evidence whatsoever. The fact that we all exist, plus the planet Earth, everything on it, and all the other planets, as well as the sun, the moon and the stars. That is proof that God is real, and if you are still not convinced, Mr. Kluth, then you are a fool.
As I said already, nobody, especially atheists like Mr. Kluth, has a shred of evidence to prove that God is not real. As for the Big Bang theory, who can prove that it actually happened? No one can. Same thing applies to evolution. I challenge any atheist to prove me wrong.
