“If you dont want to be and American citizen, leave instead of making trouble.”

“To the tea-bagger neanderthal who felt it necessary to follow me in to the gas station in Gilbert solely to disparage me for having a pro-Obama bumper sticker on my car: Do this country a favor, take your concealed weapon and stick it up your hind end. You have only served to intensify my resolve to work harder than ever to re-elect President Obama! You lose!”

“In their negotiations with the City of Chandler, the police officers need to remember that they receive much better retirement and medical benefits (for themselves and their families) than most employees do.”

“Did we really spend taxpayer money to try to recover a book that has pages torn out of it that were being sold for missions (profit)? Why is it that we can solve this crime, but we can’t find our missing and exploited children or provide a them better than mediocre educations.”

“How come John McCain or Sean Hannity hasn’t come forward to explain what President Obama really ment when he misspoke last week, when he ment to say, ‘thanks to the Republicans in Congress the private light bulb sector is doing fine.’”

“What part of ILLEGAL don’t people understand? Why halt deportation of young illegal immigrants? These immigrants know they are illegal, so why don’t they become citizens of the United States of America? It doesn’t matter if these immigrants were brought into our country by their parents when they were young, they are still illegal.”

“Currently, the national debt is nearly $16 trillion and the nation’s debt woes continue to grow. To avoid the U.S. government going bankrupt, and to avoid a financial disaster, Congressional Democrats want to dramatically raise taxes on America’s top earners. But, Congressional Republicans want to make changes through spending cuts and reforming entitlement programs.”

Venter #3: If you want benefits to equal what the police and firement are getting ( you must be envious since that is the basis of your complaint ) ... join the police or fire department, or form a union in your workplace. Many unions will be happy to assist you.

People complaining because union workers get benefits that THEY don't are simply jealous but too weak kneed to stand up for themselves and get unionized.

Venter # 6: You are correct. These young people have been in the country for years and have done exactly NOTHING to become citizens. They could have begun the paperwork at any time -- BUT THEY DIDN'T.

But, they had plenty of time to march and protest while flying the Mexican flag and demand " rights ".

If they were old enough to know they were coming across the border illegally -- they are guilty. If you walk into a bank with your parents while they rob the bank --- you are guilty too.

It's a shame their parents decided to make them criminals but that was their parents choice.

Once the kid was old enough to know that he was here illegally it was up to him to begin to try to get legal by filing the papers etc. etc.

But no they don't want to do things the legal way.

    They want the Mexican way.

Obama still has a job creation deficit, yet he authorized 800,000 work permits to worsen competition in the job market. What has he done lately for Americans? Oh, that's right. He wouldn't sign an executive order to keep unemployment benefits at 99 weeks to help Americans. This is the most anti-American president ever.

Willie Boy, the reason the cops and firemen have better retirements and benefits had nothing to do with unions. The pension system was created by the Arizona legislature many years before unions starting popping up in Arizona law enforcement or fire departments. In truth, the unions have no power in this state, since it is a right to work state. For example, in Mesa, the city charter prohibits any negotiation with unions, although the city used to allow them to make suggestions about pay and benefits. That's as far as it went, when it comes to union influence and power.

Why is it the Republicans forget, August 6, 2001 George W. Bush ignored the CIA warning of a pending 9/11 attack, that the Republicans in 2003 voted down a plan to put a overseer in charge of Fannie and Freddie and Fannie and Freddie hired
Newt Gingrich as a lobbiest that caused the housing bust. Why is it that the Republican forget two failed wars that George W. Bush kept the trillions of dollars of the books of the federal debt and at the same time gave a tax break to the top 1%? Like the Italian cruse ship that was ripped apart because of the captains stupidity and left the ship, the true cost of that accident will not be known until after the captian was fired and you can't blame who follows, did you get it this time or will you need to be reminded again next week. Ronald Reagan was the last President to sign an amnesty bill. We will be paying for George W. Bush's stupidy for decades.

Venter #2, I fear that if Obama is re-elected, we will go into another Great Depression, far worse than the 1930's. It'll make the 1930's look prosperous. Obama has pulled us so far into debt that it will most likely take many presidencies to get us out of it.

truth, "stupidy" is not a word. And you are a 9/11-truther, based on your comment. I very much doubt that Bush could have done anything about the attacks, seeing how there is someone, who, many years before, had a vision of the towers collapsing. They had no idea that it was an attack, and they had no idea when it would happen(I read all this in a book titled "Visions of the Last Days").

I refuse to believe that Bush would have ignored those warnings, if he ever received any. I saw his heartfelt speech a few weeks after the attacks, and he was very sober. I refuse to believe that he could have done anything.

We will also be paying for Obama's debts for centuries. And he's raised our debt more in three years than Bush did in eight years!

Vent #7: “Currently, the national debt is nearly $16 trillion and the nation’s debt woes continue to grow.”

President Obama continually blames the national dept problem on the Bush administration and he naively seeks to wish away the truth about his spending and the financial disaster.

The Tea Party started its political rise, and the clear focus was economic – specifically the U.S. deficit, taxes, and spending. Any way you slice it; government shouldn't spend more money than what it takes in – or what America's economic pie can provide.

"I refuse to believe that Bush would have ignored those warnings, if he ever received any. I saw his heartfelt speech a few weeks after the attacks, and he was very sober. I refuse to believe that he could have done anything."

And yet his brother, Marvin Bush, knew about the attacks 6 weeks beforehand - that's when he edited his insurance contract on the towers.

Not making any conspiracy claims, just stating facts.

Vent #1: Your right. If you don't want to be an American citizen then go where you do want to be a citizen.

Vent #2: How do you know it was a "tea-bagger"? Is anyone against Obama or his policies automatically a Tea Party member? Maybe it was a former Obama supporter that got tired of his hope, change and lack of leadership. Oh by the way, if your intensified resolve to help get Obama re-elected is successful then we ALL lose.

Vent #3: I say give the cops and firefighters as much as we can. But something has to change when it comes to public sector retirement plans. Future generations must not be left holding the bag to placate workers now. Public sector workers should have their retirement plans changed to a private 401K type accounts.

Vent #4: Enforce all the laws all the time.

Vent #5: Don't make up sh## to put on the "vent" page....

Vent #6: There was a possible plan of compromise or solution for illegals in this country. But with our Campaigner-in-Chief's sudden imperial decision to implement a new "dream act" to get votes, the compromise or solution is off the table. He continues to make things worse over and over again.

Vent #7: You stated the problem well, but what is the solution. Obama had a choice to do it all with the Simpson-Bowles plan but choose to ignore it.

I doubt that Marvin Bush knew anything.

Do you have any REAL facts to support your claim?

Since YOU'RE the one that brough it up, YOU'RE the one that has to prove it.

Any "warnings" he may have received were hearsay, not based on facts.

The so-called "warnings" weren't deemed credible enough to tell Bush or his national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, the officials said." And, "None of the information in the president's briefing or the August reports involved the eventual Sept. 11 plot."
