“Describing Rep. Daniel Patterson as disorderly, mean spirited, aggressive, unprofessional, counterproductive, intimidating and disrespectful makes me think he is a keeper. I’m sure he will acquire cheating, lying, stealing and drunkenness, then he’ll fit right in.”

“I see the Republican-dominated Supreme Court says you can be strip-searched for jaywalking. What ever happend to innocent until proven guilty. This time I agree with Rush Limbaugh his taxes pay for the strip search post it on the internet so he can see what kind of bang he gets for his buck.”

“No one calls Obama the first half-black/half-white president. If George Zimmerman was pulled over by Arpaio for a broken taillight, no one would mention that he’s half-hispanic/half-white. Yet every article mentioning Zimmerman provides the details of his parentage. Why? Because it fits the agenda of those who wish he was all white and are determined to blame his white half for the tragedy.”

“Here is a clue for Jon Beydler so that he will have one. He so blindly compares auto insurance with the mandate to buy health insurance. John, there is no federal mandate for all individuals to buy auto insurance because you do not have to drive. You can’t even compare the two. Nice try!”

“California has some of the most restrictive statewide gun controls in the U.S. Also, guns are illegal on the school campuses. Obviously everyone in school in California is safe and has no need to be able to defend themself.”

“Liberalism 101. Demonize anyone who doesn’t agree with you, and then blame them for your failures!”

“Until I read Wednesday’s Vent, I had no idea that April Fool’s Day is so closely followed by Right-Wing Nut Day! It’s hard to know where to start. I just want to say that if a gun-toting white man had slain a white boy whose iced tea and candy ‘threatened’ him, there would still be an outcry, because the ‘Stand Your Ground’ law is so outrageously stupid and led to a tragedy. But the bigger issue, in addition to this, is that incidents such as the one in Florida happen to black males with alarming frequency. The Venter completely missed both points!”
