"The United States Postal Service is on the brink of insolvency - and broke. The Postal Service is expected to lose $8 billion for the second consecutive year as mail volume has dropped by about 20 percent from 2006 to 2010. It is now looking to end mail Saturday delivery."

"Please advise the local Vent fashionista that Michelle Obama's choice of dress was appropriate for the Medal of Honor Award Ceremony. And hose? Hose? fashionista should visit some of our country's top corporations, banks, law firms, newspapers and universities where one might find hose on working women who are over 60, but few others. Fashions come and go. What is a constant is respect, which is always presented by our First Lady... and she deserves the same."

The United States Postal Service (also known as USPS, the Post Office or U.S. Mail), which is America’s second-largest employer is in dire straits and it’s all the Internet’s fault . . . that is, because of the Internet's impact, which resulted in the decline of advertising circulars (junk mail) by many companies.
It has asked Congress to allow it to cut delivery to five days a week and to ease the requirement for an annual $5.5 billion payment to fund future retiree health benefits.
As it stands now, USPS will not be able to make the payment by its September due date. Postmaster General Patrick R. Donahoe said, "On September 20th, I won't be able to pay my bills." If the status quo continues, Donahoe said, mail delivery could be cut back to three days a week.

1st V- I thought just the opposite was the problem with the Tea Party - they let every Tom, Richard* and Joe the Plumber in. Glad to see ol' Maverick McCain finally awakened from his nearly 10 year sleep to call out the Tea Party as to what they really are - and he was just being polite. *Comment control wouldn't let me put in the nickname for Richard.
4th V- Amen - Yup, I haven't worn "hose" in 10 years in any business meeting,at a wedding, to church, etc. etc. What is especially unfashionable is wearing hose with opened toed shoes. Some women just haven't gotten the memo yet. Yes, Mrs. Obama is fashionably current.

Michelle Obama wears clothing suitable for tweens and teens. Have you seen some of the gawd awful outfits she's worn that are totally inappropriate? Half the time she looks like a pinata. And the color schemes are outlandish and not dignified for a First Lady. I am embarrassed that she is representing us. I wish I could buy her a full length mirror, but that wouldn't improve her tacky taste in clothing.

First Ventor:
Any party with an applications process and an admissions committee is not a political party. It is a country club!

A fence around Pinal County will not keep Faux News out!
Third Venter:
When we sent the Post Office out on its own, allowing it and other private enterprises to compete, FedX, UPS, etc. yet mandating that the USPO still make expensive delivery to home addresses, this problem was inevidable. Suck it up, fella, Its our fault, not theirs.

First Lady fashion? Who the heck cares?
