The decision of the Supreme Court regarding Arizona trying to defend itself from foreign attack, smacks of political pressure. It is my “over the top” thought that Obama insisted on this victory or else the mandatory aspect of Obama Care would stand. I think that Justice Roberts felt that the repeal of mandatory health insurance was more important than Arizona’s right to protect its borders. I would love to subpoena all of the Justices to find out how much of their decision making relates to the US Constitution and how much is determined by loyal liberals doing the bidding of Barrack Hussein Obama II.

Oh good more deportations by President Obama. Now I feel much beeter. I mean it isn't even like I can drive down the street in Az and see illegals flaunting the fact that they are here illegally yet the administration does everything it can to prevent the state of Az from protecting itself. Nope, that just proves he is tougher on illegal immigration- I think. And no way we can trust the Police not to enforce the law without infringing on civil rights. No way, I mean we have to trust the illegal aliens to enforce themselves. This is insanity at it's finest. Anyone who votes for Obama does so on blind faith. What can they point to that has improved under his time in office.

I was an investment advisor and stole millions from my sucker clients. I raised my kids in a gated community and sent them to private schools for several years. Then I got caught. The judge let my kids keep the money stolen from the clients and continue their lifestyle, because it would not be fair to kick them out of the life they have known, and they have done nothing wrong.
Outrage ensues.

@DavidNichols: Where in all my comments have I ever mentioned race or color in a "racist" way? NEVER! Why, because it isn't about the person's RACE, it's about their LEGAL STANDING. Attempt all the insults you wish, call me racist until you are blue in the face, and it will not change THOSE FACTS!
"What of the Tens of thousands of legal Citizen Children of un-documented Immigrants?" -- Blame those responsible, their parents! They enter the country ILLEGALLY! Do you honestly think it's right that a person that commits a crime (or CRIMES) should be rewarded, or their children rewarded? They can go home with their parents, then when they come of age, they can reenter as citizens, right?
It's entitlement minded persons such as yourself that is slowly crippling America. The line has to be drawn somewhere, and that's why we have LEGAL IMMIGRATION! Why can't they do the same as MILLIONS OF OTHERS HAVE?
Face you? What are you proposing? Do you want this to become a "might makes right" contest? That's not what America's about. There's nothing you can say that will change my mind. Amnesty was granted once, and as I expected, the flood gates opened up. Repeating that mistake will only entrench that way of thinking. It needs to be stopped.

@JOSEPH-- first and foremost let me make myself perfectly clear, i did not support obama last election nor do i like the majority of his policies . But it's so strange that people like you want to blame obama for not controlling the borders, what is it going to take for people like you to see that all the politicians do not want to solve this issue because if they did it would have been done. It's amazing how history will show that in the last 100 years not 20 years have been white politicians so why have you not posted your anger at them because at one time we did keep a close eye on our borders. Tell me Joseph how is it that we can send a man to the moon, eradicate many of life's diseases, help countries fight their dictators and accomplish that sucessfully in most cases but yet our government cannot control the borders? It's because as in the time of slavery they benefitted from all the negro slaves and today is no different. Here in AZ even the politicians have profited from illegals in this state, they publicly clamor about it but privately they close their eyes to the breaking of the laws such as reported today in the az republic about Will Cardon owner of restaurants in az who had been hiring illegals and claims he knew nothing of that, over a hundred and he did not know? Spare me and any common sense person your efforts to believe that the SCOTUS based their opinion on loyalty to a party affiliation, give me a break, the decision did not go the way you wanted so now there has to be a conspiracy and you want to subpoena them, haha how ignorant you appear to be. Maybe you should mind your own business in pennsylvania and keep your nose out of something here in arizona you have not personally experienced. as much as i dislike obama i will vote for him this time which will be more of an anti-GOP vote

Joe,
Your nuts!
SB1070 was not stricken down. It was watered down. Three of four challenged porvisions were stricken and the fourth was placed on probation. But SB1070 was not stricken down. If police officers can avoid profiling, they still can pursue immigration status with probable cause to suspect.
And The Affordible Healthcare Law was not stricken down, either. The provision mandating purchase of healthcare coverage withstood challenge, not on the Commerce Clause, but as a tax.
So, Joe. You're nuts, cookoo, crazy, misintormed. Are you a Neoconservative? Thought so!

Chat,
Promises.....promises....
Anyone can whisper sweet nothings in your ear and if you BELIEVE that Mittens will actually do anything about border enforcement you must indeed be a gullible young thing..
So come over here sweetie, and let me tell you the story of the Republican run state of AZ with names like Flake, Brewer, McCain, Kyl, Quayle and Franks and 8 years of a Repub President known as 'W' and the decades of fairy tales they told about border control.
And when you wake up you'll realize that even with the deck stacked entirely in their favor they've done NOTHING of substance on the issue - not even "build the dang fence".
And now that you've sobered up let me tell you the truth about record numbers of deportations, increased border patrol and drone surveillance that have ACTUALLY taken place in, let's see now..... I guess it's been the last 3 years or so.
Come back tomorrow and I'll tell you you who got that done....

PA Joe... Your efforts to tie SCOTUS decisions on immigration and affordable health care together is strange and convoluted. A good conspiracy theory is always a winner but as you say, this one is over the top. There just isn’t anything there that makes sense. Maybe something that links them or a common motive would help. Trying to compare apples and oranges just gets you fruit.

chatmandu002 --- I would love to vote for the guy who would enforce our immigration laws.
Who would that be?
Obama won't.
Romney won't.
Although Republicans make a show of being against illegals --- who is it that owns the businesses that employ them?
Republicans.
Business wants illegal labor.
All the amnesty proposals that have been put forward so far contained a provision that the illegal who was being given a work permit had to have a work sponsor.
A form of slavery. If you get fired -- you get deported.
Unless you can find another master to vouch for you before the government catches you ( if they were even trying ).
The amnesty proposals didn't give them citizenship or even make them completely legal. They would be allowed to stay only as long as they pleased their master errrr sponsor.
None of the major party candidates will do ANYTHING to actually remove the illegal labor force.
Eventually, they may pass another law and have photo ops as the President ( whoever that may be ) signs it and the congresscritters take credit for it.
But, they won't vote for any funding for enforcement.
So it will just be one more hollow law.

We have a choice this November. Vote for the guy who DOES NOT enforce our immigration laws or vote for the guy who WILL enforce our immigration laws.

@ Joseph: You are from PA, try writing to your own papers. You could be a snowbird, but unless you lived here in AZ for the last 20 years, I don't think you have the experience necessary to comment on SB1070. Second, only the "heart" of SB1070 remains, and King Obama has already stated he won't deport "hard working" types. Never mind that they are all CRIMINALS. I know that they've let ILLEGAL ALIENS that committed the crime of identity theft STAY! So, it seems they are given more "rights" than US citizens, even though they ARE INVADING FOREIGN NATIONALS.....
