Regarding the editorial by Richard Carmona: “Politicized attacks on Pell Grants misguided,” March 30.
Senate candidate Richard Carmona entered the race claiming to be a different kind of Democrat. Yet when he actually has taken a position on something, it’s been that of a classic big-government liberal: more spending, more regulation, and more government.
This election will determine the future path of our nation.
Will we keep speeding down the spending superhighway, as Carmona and other Democrats advocate, or will we turn in the direction of economic prosperity and responsibility?
I know which I prefer.

Jeff Flake voted against extending a payroll tax cut. He voted against the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act. He voted for allowing cement manufacturers to pollute the air with fewer restrictions.
Candace, If you mean to say that Flake is for increasing middle class taxes and reducing regulations for cleaner air and safer food. Then, I guess, Flake is your man.

So Candice,
Correct me if I'm wrong here. You want us to vote for Flakey Jake?
