  We are fighting over relative trivia, how to balance a federal budget, dragging in a largely unrelated problem, the debt ceiling, while the Decline and Fall of the Western Empire is the more serious problem.

  Cutting back drastically on federal spending might help balance a budget. But where so much of our economy depends upon government spending, doing so is more likely to plunge us into a Depression than is raising taxes on the most well off.

  Why don't you take a crack at that? Even money allegedly wasted on gold plated toilet seets creates jobs in the domestic enconomy. The Tea Partier's haven't a clue as to what makes the economy tick!

  Very funny Will. Your commentary hit’s home in so many ways. They say that the essence of humor is being able to look at things from many perspectives and you got this one just right. Oh, and don’t worry about our insular friend, Dale. We’ll explain it to him later.
