“Adios, Steve Nash. You are a fine basketball player, and we wish you had left it at that. But your being from a foreign nation, yet lecturing the good people of Arizona from your protected, ivory tower, padded life, on how we should tolerate and live with the invasion of illegals across our borders has been too much. We wish you luck in Los Angeles, and hope you will enjoy the more diverse and supportive fan base it has to offer.”

“The Supreme Court must have been listening to Pelosi when she said, ‘Just pass it (Obamacare) you can read it later.’”

“The Republican plan after they repeal Obamacare, for 30 million uninsured people is about the same as an extra-strength Tylenol for a brain tumor, their idea of quality care for those 30 million.”

“I read where Samuel Lopez is going to be executed for a rape and murder he committed in 1987. I think this is another example of how stupid our legal system is. It’s 25 years, more likely, Lopez has forgotten what he is being executed for.”

“‘Apre moi, l’deluge’ — After me, the financial ruin and destruction of the nation. Who said this: Louis XV of France or Barack Hussein Obama of Hawaii ... or both?”

“When a conservative attempts to reason with a liberal, the reaction is usually a display of mental deafness. Liberals don’t tune in to the frequencies of common sense and reason. Should a liberal hear the phrase, ‘You’re wrong,’ it automatically triggers a defensive mode consisting of a diatribe of incoherent prattle. In this day and age, it is so easy to control the liberal mind with political brainwashing, but to try to fool the heart is another matter. And so, with this in mind, when engaging a liberal, it just might be more effective to say, ‘Follow your heart’ instead of, ‘Use your brain, you big dummy!’”

“Maybe we should cut retired English teachers’ pensions to pay for some programs to better teach our youth.”

“I have a small business and since January I have received an average of four phone calls a day to get my free Google web page! I have tried to talk to everyone imaginable to stop these calls (FTC doesn’t care, attorney general doesn’t care, BBB doesn’t care, Arizona secretary of state doesn’t care and national no call list is no help either!) Google won’t help claiming it’s not them! Does anyone know how to stop these calls?”

Vent #1 - Steve Nash could not have picked a worse team. Why LA? WHY?!?!?!?! They’re a bunch of stiff-necked sore losers! I hope they NEVER win a championship with Nash. They could easily do it without him.

Vent #2 - Yeah, and unfortuneately, Roberts was their puppet.

Vent #3 - Where'd you get that dumb idea, truth? (I’m assuming that’s you)

Vent #4 - It's also quite expensive to keep them alive so long. They really should be executed the same day they are convicted (though many convicted killers have been exonerated later on, so maybe that's not the best idea).

Vent #5 – Are you sure you got that translation right? I looked it up on Google Translate, and all I got was: Opens moi, le'deluge. And that was the English translation.

Vent #6 – Good idea. I’ll just try that!

Vent #7 – Such as what? I only partially disagree with you. Teachers sacrifice an awful lot. Cutting their retirement may not be the best solution.

Vent #8 – Sorry pal, I can’t help you with that one.

Vent #1: Steve welcome to California where you can really pay more taxes and enjoy it less. LOL

Vent #2: Read it?.... they haven't even finished writing it!!

Vent #3: What the republicans don't like is the government taking over healthcare and then having to support the healthcare for 30 million people.

Vent #4: The ultimate crime deserves the ultimate penalty no matter how long it takes.

Vent #5: Let me guess. "Both".... LOL

Vent #6: It's like trying to mix oil with water. You know the conservative like oil and the liberals like that fruit flavored water drink.

Vent #7: Don't cut the retirement pay, just change the retirement plan for new teachers to a 401K type plan.

Vent #8: "No habla Ingles". Is all I got... LOL

chatmandu, the government is NOT taking over healthcare.

The so called " Obamacare " requires people to have insurance with PRIVATE FOR PROFIT COMPANIES --- not with the government.

Letting everyone into Medicare would have been the best route ... but no ... Obama sold out.

The so called " Obamacare " is actually the Republican dream because EVERYONE has to have insurance and if they aren't old enough for Medicare or poor enough for Medicaid, they have to BUY it from a FOR PROFIT insurance company.

What the Republicans DON'T like is the inclusion of a few clauses that require the insurance companies to spend at least 80% of premiums on benefits instead of on executive bonuses. The insurance companies used to pay out between 60 - 70% now they have to return money to the customers if they don't pay out at least 80% in benefits.

They also don't like not being able to turn down people with pre-existing conditions.

Other than that, the new law reads like Insurance company people wrote it.

AZ Willie says; "the government is NOT taking over healthcare"

Well Willie if the government dictates the rules and requirements to have and sell healthcare then I believe that they have in effect taken over healthcare. I'm sure that if Obama is re-elected his base will be clamoring for a single payer healthcare system which would ensure a "fait accompli" for a complete government takeover.

"the government is NOT taking over healthcare?"

    --------------------------------------------------------------

Republicans are "fired up" to oppose the ObamaCare law, and are vowing to continue to fight the law in hopes of repealing it entirely.

“ObamaCare” government law has intensified debate surrounding President Obama’s leadership and handling of America's problems. And many are wondering how the ruling will impact the upcoming presidential election.

chatmanduu002, the gov't has rules for buying lots of things.

There are rules for buying stocks and bonds.
There are gov't rules on buying real estate.
There are gov't rules on flying on airlines from the ticket prices to the colonoscopy you have to endure to get on the plane.

That doesn't mean the gov't has taken those industries over.

    AZ Willie,
Tell us where the government is NOT in control of healthcare and I am sure our imperial president will proclaim an edict to rectify such transgressions.

    AZ Willie,
I have a healthcare plan for you. Why not do a single payer system funded by a retail sales tax of 10-15% with the exclusion of food and medicine. That way everyone pays for healthcare and everyone pays equally.

Wouldn't it be funny if the Suns win a championship next year or the year after without Nash? That's not likely to happen, but it would still be pretty hilarious if it did.

For once, you've said something I agree with.

I hope it happens within Al McCoy's lifetime.
