“Been bitten by a bear lately? Keep your butt out of the woods, and leave the bears be, and you won’t get bit. Are people stupid or what?”

“How about passing a bill that would eliminate the executive order, the filibuster, the Super PACs, and last but not least corporations are people, too. They could call it the ‘Roving Boehner Bama Koch Bill’. Who would benefit? The planet Earth.”

“Joe Arpaio’s Tent City jail is called inhumane? Well, nobody is invited to spend time there and it’s not meant to be a country club. If you do go there it’s because you committed a crime and now you whine. Next time think before you act.”

“It’s Sunday, the phone in the Oval Office is ringing. Will Romney answer it?”

“While I feel Reagan was one of the worst recent presidents, I would not stoop so low as to suggest that he was like Sandusky in his treatment of Americans. But his son apparently hates President Obama so much that he’ll put him in that category. It’s just plain wrong. Take it back, Michael!”

"Tell me this, EV, don’t you think that if Joseph Smith had been lying, all he had to do to stop the persecutions was to deny what he had seen?"

And millions of pagans, pantheists, wiccans, etc. have died over the centuries, rather than renounce their non Christian faith. Does that mean their beliefs were true?

Analogy fail, but feel free to try again. ;)

Golly, mrconservative, you said you were no longer going to reply to me...

That makes eleven lies this week, that's gotta be some kind of record! LOL

"He translated the Gold Plates through the Gift and Power of God"
And my dragon melts metal with the Gift and Power of his Fire Breath.

You are just getting sillier and sillier. And still won't even ATTEMPT to support any of the outlandish claims you've made. How pathetic.

    3. It was five other brethren, not six.

Let me make a slight correction to the above comment.

    1. Joseph Smith called of God.

I don't have to look at that website to know how the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints was founded. Here it is in a nutshell:

    1. Jopeph Smith was called of God.

    2. He translated the Gold Plates through the Gift and Power of God.

    3. On April 6, 1830, he, along with six other brethren, organized the Church following the laws of New York.

    4. He (Joseph Smith) baptized many people that day, including his parents.

    5. He became the first out of many people who were persecuted for their beliefs.

Let’s look at three theories concerning those Eleven Witnesses.

Did they do it for fame?

Tell me this, EV, don’t you think that if Joseph Smith had been lying, all he had to do to stop the persecutions was to deny what he had seen? Does that sound hard to you? Not one of the Eleven Witnesses, or Joseph Smith, EVER denied that they had seen the Gold Plates, eight of which held them in their hands. While eight of them eventually left the Church (though a few did come back) they NEVER once denied what they had seen. Not once. That kind of kills the “hey did it for fame” theory.

Did they do it for wealth?

Hardly. The United States was extremely poor back then. The President and Cabinet members had to withdraw from their own personal funds to pay for Government expenses. Very few of the early church members were what you’d call rich. Martin Harris, one of the Three Witnesses, even mortgaged his farm to help pay for the printing of The Book of Mormon. If he hadn't believed in its truthfulness, he would not have done that.

Did they do it for power?

Nope. Not one of those eleven men ever held a high office in the Church. They were never in the First Presidency, or on the Council of the Twelve.

South Park is a horrible show. That so called "100% true" is a lie. And you know it.

I suppose you'll say that I'm lying. If you really think that everything on that website is true, then it shouldn't be too difficult for you to prove it.

Of course, you will NEVER succeed at bringing down the Church of God. Others have tried, but have failed. The only thing that can bring it down is wickedness from within. SInce that won't happen ANY time soon, I suggest you just accept the truth.

Though, knowing you, you would probably rather jump in the Amazon than accept the truth.

South Park? Really? How dumb can you get? You think I'd believe that BS?

"The Gold Plates were given backto the angel Moroni when the prophet Joseph Smith finished translating them. They are not on the earth at this time.

    This really happened."

    *chuckle*

    Oh, was he being serious?

    LOL!!!
How INSANE that an adult in this day and age can believe in such absurd fairytales, written by an immoral, two-faced con man.

And thanks, mrconservative, for opening that can of worms (grammar police) - given that the majority of your posts contain at least one mistake, expect to be schooled on it from now on. Remember the Golden Rule.

I don't personally know any psychiatrists, but I know of a few. I'll see if I can get one for you truth. You desperately need one.

I know you think I need one, but I don't. It's you that needs one.

And it's "there", not "their". Use proper grammar, if you please.

The Gold Plates were given backto the angel Moroni when the prophet Joseph Smith finished translating them. They are not on the earth at this time.

This really happened. One way or another, everyone will know it.

Yes, I give Reagan full credit for the fixing the mess that Jimmy Carter gave us. Thank God I wasn't around during the Carter years. It must've been a living hell, like what we're in today, thanks to the Anointed One.

I don't hate Obama. I disagree with what he is doing to this country. No more than that. I dooubt there is a single liberal in politics that has not expressed hatred for Republicans.

Remember, that "nice" lady that said, "As far as I'm concerned, the tea partyers can go straight to hell."

Or the hell-bound Klan member that used the "n" word. I don't think I need to use his name here. (But just in case you don't know, it's, Robert KKK Byrd)

Or Bill Clinton's brother, Roger, who used hateful comments (to be honest, I can't recall what he actually said, but I know for a fact that he has saiid them).

Or that radical preacher, Jeremiah "Wrong" Wright, who used the most hateful language about his Creator; the Sunday after 9/11, no less.

Or Obama himself, who referred to the Sermon on the Mount as radical.

    Need I go on?

Can you think of a single conservative that has used that kind of language about ANYONE, truth?

Or are you too paranoid in your liberal mind to see the REAL truth?

Are you serious ?, you are giving Reagan credit for something even before he became President. I am frequently dismayed - and increasingly disgusted - by the "mass produced hate and rage" that passes from conservatism today. The new right has no respect for the "civility and order" embodied by Reagan. It's leaders are demagogues like Rush Limbaugh and rabid bloggers who routinely refer to ideological opponents as "sluts" and "filthy freaks." There can be no dissent from the theological insistence that global warming is a hoax, or that "Barack Hussein Obama " is a Marxist Antichrist; no one dares to condem loonies like Rep. Allen West a Flordia Republican who recently insisted that "78-81" congressional Democrats are members of the communist party. The Wall Street Journal

"We LDS people answer the phone when it rings"

I'm calling about the missing Golden Plates...

Vent #1 - Good idea, though those people were at actually camping grounds, not in the middle of nowhere.

Vent #2 - It might benefit us short tem, but not in the long run. Sometimes a fillibuster is necessary.

Vent #3 - Good point. Givin' 'em pink underwear will make a man out of them (at lease on the men).

Vent #4 - Of course he will. We LDS people answer the phone when it rings, even on Sunday.

Vent #5 - You're wrong. Michael does not hate Obama. And Reagan was one of the GREATEST presidents we've ever had. Don't forget that within hours of him taking offices, hostages were released after being held for 444 days.
