I thought it would be hard to disprove your theories, but they're actually qute simple, so here we go.
About those so-called "zombies" it litterally means that the dead will rise. Yes, they will once again be alive. They will not be like the zombies you've seen in moves or read about in other books. They will actually be alive, like us, only they will be immortal. This scrpture does not use the word zombie, so what makes you think they'll act like those fictional zombies?
The pillars are not refferring to pillars you see on those old Greek buildings, or what have you, but are actually referring to the fact that God created the earth. There are many parts of the Bible that are difficult to understand, but this one was very obvious to me.
The "earth not moving" is referring to the time when the earth literally stood still; it did not move at all. This happened briefly, so that Samuel could accomplish a task that God gave him.
I doubt that this will be satisfying for you; nothing I say will be. But it is the best I can do. If you want a better answer, try praying (I know an atheist like you probably won't try that, but you can't blame me for trying to get through to you).
"It is both sad and funny how many so-called Christians don't know their own book."
I don't pretend to know everything about the Bible; I haven't read the whole thng. It's very long! But I have read the New Testament with my family, as well as many parts of the Old Testament, including the ENTIRE book of Isaiah.

Joshua 10:12 Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. [Is] not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

I could be practicing the "Kabbalah" Jewish religion. THEY consider "666" a blessed number! It could be that my "lucky" numbers are "3" and "6", and I figured having "6" listed "3" times would be lucky! Whatever the case, it's MY RIGHT to choose as I see fit! mrconservative is 100% correct. Joseph Smith was a TRUE prophet of God.
And there is OVERWHELMING evidence that God lives. The fact that YOU live and breathe is CONCRETE evidence!
About the Book of Mormon -
Do you know what a philologist is?
A philologist (aka linguistic) is an expert scientist whose main field is studying the use of words to express ideas.
There have been many philologists who are not LDS who have proven that not just one man could have written the Book of Mormon. One only need to compare Nephi with Moroni to come to this conclusion.
Also, there are 180 new proper names in the Book of Mormon when it came off the press in 1830.
One of the "new" names was Moronihah. We thought it was a new name in 1830. Then, many years later, we met an Indian Tribe, whose whereabouts we didn't know of in 1830. The archeologists who came in contact with these Indians asked them how long they had called a certain mountain "Moronihah". They told us that it had been passed down for many, many years, from father to son, ever since the "Great Earthquakes" (which took place at Christ's death).
Another "new" name was Nephihah, which we thought was new in 1830. Then we met another Indian tribe, whose existence we didn't know about util many years after the Book was first printed. This Indian tribe had always called a certain river "Nephihah".
So it goes on, with many of the 180 names. This proves that Joseph Smith could not have dreamed them up.
You have also said - in another comment - that mrconservative wouldn't be commenting anmore to you. Actually, what he said was, "I will not be commenting anymore concerning this matter." He NEVER said he wouldn't be commenting to you or anyone else at all!
Now who's the liar, eh?
You demand evidence that God is real. You demand reason, logic, facts, and evidence. I have given you evidence. Now let's look at the facts, reason and logic:
Fact: The very first sentence in the Bible is: "In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the earth"
That makes it pretty clear, dontcha think?
I know you don't belive in the Bible, so I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't accept that alone.
How about this: When you die, and you will die eventually - when, I do not know - you will be brought to stand before your Maker. You will be judged of Him, based on how you acted in this life. He will lok at you and say something like this: "Did I not declare my words unto you, through my servants?" You will not dare to look up to Him. You will bow your head in shame, becasue you did not believe in Him.
Now, since I don't know you personally, I must ask you this question: Have you been an atheist your entire life?
You say that mrconservative has posted lies, about God really existing, and you say that what he has said is not enough. I doubt what I say will be enough, but I guess I shouldn't expect anything more from a close-minded person like you.
You have yet to debunk ANY of mrconservative's words. And you will NEVER be able to debunk mine.
StrongChristian posted at 11:16 pm on Sat, Jul 7, 2012.
Here is a part of what mrconservative said. For some reason, it was erased from this comment page. But luckily, I have a near-perfect memory. To be 100% honest, though, I will admit to copy-pasting most of it. But I was able to recall much of it without looking it up.
You want facts? I’ll give you facts! But remember: YOU’RE ASKING FOR IT!
FACT: We cannot exist without God. It would be impossible.
FACT: God created man in His own image.
FACT: He created the Heavens and the earth.
FACT: In the pre-existence, one-third of the Hosts of heaven (led by Satan, the devil) rebelled against God and were kicked out of Heaven because of it. The rest (including you, EV) sided with God.
FACT: I KNOW that God lives. I KNOW it. Don’t tell me that I don’t know, because I do.
FACT: Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. You cannot prove otherwise. You say there is evidence to the contrary, but you never provide any. (Don’t bother; I know it’s all lies.)
FACT: There are millions of worlds out there, other than our own. You cannot begin to comprehend any of it.
FACT: The sun, the moon, the stars, and the earth – plus, everything on it – is proof that God lives.
QUESTION: Can you think of a way that something can come from nothing? Because, being an atheist, you’d have to believe that.
That's as much as I got.
With all this overwhelming evidence, you'd think it would be enough!
Tell me this, EngagedVoter, since you don't believe in God, does that also mean you do not believe in the devil?
Mrconservative, I will now speak to you. Good job on putting out those facts. This guy, EV as you call him, is too stubborn to admit he's wrong. Nothing short of God Himself appearing to him will be enough to convince that guy that God lives. Bravo. Keep up the good work. Or, rather, the "Good News" of God!

"You have called mrconservative a liar"
I've caught him in ELEVEN lies in the past week, Would you like a list?
"And there is OVERWHELMING evidence that God lives."
Then why are people like you and mrconservative so afraid to PRESENT this mysterious "evidence"?
"The fact that YOU live and breathe is CONCRETE evidence!"
Concrete evidence that we live and breathe, not evidence for any magical sky fairies,,,try again.
"You want facts? I’ll give you facts!"
Finally! No more evasion!
"FACT: We cannot exist without God. It would be impossible."
Wow, you're as screwy as mrconservative - that is NOT a fact.
The rest of your "facts" I won't even bother quoting - they are all superstitious nonsense. What are you, ten years old? I'm surprised I didn't see a "fact" about Santa!
Here's a clue for you - making a claim that something, anything, exists...IS A SCIENTIFIC CLAIM THAT REQUIRES EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT IT.
At least you got ONE thing right - I don't believe in any gods, devils, demons, fairies, pixies. leprechauns, talking donkeys, or talking snakes. Strange that any adult in today's day and age believes in such insane nonsense.

In my humble opinion, if having faith rested on concrete evidence, then heaven would be full of half-believers. Faith should, and is, somewhat of a mystery. The whole idea of faith rests on the belief of things not yet seen, of promises yet to be fulfilled, and contradictions deliberately placed to fool and distract those not sincere. One mans humble opinion.

I have three questions for you, and I expect truthful answers.
1. WHY do you not believe in God?
2. If you saw an angel with your own eyes, would you ever deny it?
3. Are you aware, sir, that humans have writen on metal plates before? They have been found all over the world, including Africa, the Middle East and Europe. Google it if you do not beleive me.

Here's another question I just thought of. I just want to make sure I understand you correctly.
According to you, when we die, we cease to exist?
Is that something that you believe?
(Okay, that's two questions, but they're both related.)

The wheel was invented, separately, in different areas of the world, independent of each other. Do you really want the explanation for these occurrences? (HINT - the real explanation is long, and doesn't require any supernatural elements)
"According to you, when we die, we cease to exist?"
Our atoms continue to exist as they did before we were in our current forms - we are starstuff, whether or not you accept that FACT.

The story of the Tower of Bable is MYTHOLOGY, like much at the time, to explain why people spoke different languages. It actually explained nothing, just a myth that does NOT explain the etymology of languages at all.
Do you really believe all humans on the planet spoke the same language? Are you really that uneducated?

StrongChristian posted at 3:28 pm on Mon, Jul 9, 2012.
We're far from done, pal. We're just gettin' started. First, proof that the Bible DOES mention the Tower of Babel.
Genesis 11: 1-9
1. And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
2. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
3. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime they had for mortar.
4. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of t
the whole earth.
5. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
6. And the Lord said, Behold the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.
8. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth; and they left off to build the city.
9. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the l
anguage of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
There is your proof that the Bible mentions the Tower of Babel. Of course, since you reject the Bible to be the word of God, I expect you’ll laugh at it .I typed this all up myself; I did not copy-paste it.
You also said it would be insane for any grown-up to believe in this “nonsense”, meaning a belief in God. Well, if being called insane is the price to pay for believing in God, I’m all for it. I’d rather be insane and happy and believe in God then sad, depressed and miserable and not believe in Him.
And for your information, ELEVEN men testified to seeing the Plates of Gold. Not just one, but ELEVEN.
Here is the testimony of the Three Witnesses:
Be it known unto all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, unto whom this work shall come: That we, through the grace of God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, have seen the plates which contain this record, which is a record of the people of Nephi, and also of the Lamanites, their brethren, and also of the people of Jared, who came from the tower of which hath been spoken. And we also know that they have been translated by the gift and power of God, for his voice hath declared it unto us; wherefore we know of a surety that the work is true. And we also testify that we have seen the engravings which are upon the plates; and they have been shown unto us by the power of God, and not of man. And we declare with words of soberness, that an angel of God came down from heaven, and he brought and laid before our eyes, that we beheld and saw the plates, and the engravings thereon; and we know that it is by the grace of God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, that we beheld and bear record that these things are true. And it is marvelous in our eyes. Nevertheless, the voice of the Lord commanded us that we should bear record of it; wherefore, to be obedient unto the commandments of God, we bear testimony of these things. And we know that if we are faithful in Christ, we shall rid our garments of the blood of all men, and be found spotless before the judgment-seat of Christ, and shall dwell with him eternally in the heavens. And the honor be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost, which is one God. Amen.
Oliver Cowdery
David Whitmer
Martin Harris
And here is the Testimony of the Eight Witnesses
Be it known unto all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, unto whom this work shall come: That Joseph Smith, Jun., the translator of this work, has shown unto us the plates of which hath been spoken, which have the appearance of gold; and as many of the leaves as the said Smith has translated we did handle with our hands; and we also saw the engravings thereon, all of which has the appearance of ancient work, and of curious workmanship. And this we bear record with words of soberness, that the said Smith has shown unto us, for we have seen and hefted, and know of a surety that the said Smith has got the plates of which we have spoken. And we give our names unto the world, to witness unto the world that which we have seen. And we lie not, God bearing witness of it.

They never once denied their testimonies, though there were perfect circumstances for them to do so. They lost many friends, and made many many enemies, they were laughed and jeered at; they never denied or changed their testimones. Even long after Joseph Smith's death, they continued bearing testimony to what they had seen.
I also noticed that you avoided my questions. Answer them again, with REAL answers this time.
StrongChristian posted at 3:36 pm on Mon, Jul 9, 2012.
One thing I need to add - the mobs killed many women and childen, they tarred and feathered Joseph Smith several times, one time resulted in the death of one of his and his wife Emma Simth's children. I suppose you'll say that the mobs were also "victims".
And let's not forget that a mob of 200 people stormed Carthage Jail and killed Joseph Smith and his brother, Hyrum.
This is what John Taylor, who was a witness to Smith's martydom, had to say about it.
1 To seal the testimony of this book and the Book of Mormon, we announce the martyrdom of Joseph Smith the Prophet, and Hyrum Smith the Patriarch. They were shot in Carthage jail, on the 27th of June, 1844, about five o’clock p.m., by an armed mob—painted black—of from 150 to 200 persons. Hyrum was shot first and fell calmly, exclaiming: I am a dead man! Joseph leaped from the window, and was shot dead in the attempt, exclaiming: O Lord my God! They were both shot after they were dead, in a brutal manner, and both received four balls.
2 John Taylor and Willard Richards, two of the Twelve, were the only persons in the room at the time; the former was wounded in a savage manner with four balls, but has since recovered; the latter, through the providence of God, escaped, without even a hole in his robe.
3 Joseph Smith, the Prophet and Seer of the Lord, has done more, save Jesus only, for the salvation of men in this world, than any other man that ever lived in it. In the short space of twenty years, he has brought forth the Book of Mormon, which he translated by the gift and power of God, and has been the means of publishing it on two continents; has sent the fulness of the everlasting gospel, which it contained, to the four quarters of the earth; has brought forth the revelations and commandments which compose this book of Doctrine and Covenants, and many other wise documents and instructions for the benefit of the children of men; gathered many thousands of the Latter-day Saints, founded a great city, and left a fame and name that cannot be slain. He lived great, and he died great in the eyes of God and his people; and like most of the Lord’s anointed in ancient times, has sealed his mission and his works with his own blood; and so has his brother Hyrum. In life they were not divided, and in death they were not separated!
(Doctrine and Covenants 135: 1-3)

Granted, that scripture does not have the words "Tower of Babel", but it is soooooooooooooo obviously reffering to the Tower of Babel; you'd have to be more braindead than Terry Schiavo to believe otherwise.
Yes, men did write on the Gold Plates - that is a fact. You cannot prove that the Gold Plates did not exist. It starts in 600 B. C. and ends around A. D. 421. A part of the book tells about the people who lived in the area when the tower was built, and their descendants. Both groups wre, for the most part, destroyed.
I think it's time I told you my story - my CONVERSION story. That's right pal, I am a convert to the LDS church. Here it is in a nutshell:
1. At he age of fifteen (three years ago) two young men showed up at my parents' door.
2. I read the Book of Mormon, prayed about it, as the book says to do (It took me about six months to read it. I had school, after all).
3. I recieved confimation that the book is true.
4. My parents, and myself, as well as several younger simbings, were baptized. I will be going on a mission in a little over a year. I am realy looking forward to it.
I wouild tell you more, but it's late at night and it would take too long.
Joseph Smith did not even have a eighth grade education. He could not possibly made up the story in the Book of Mormon. There are far too many dialects. There's also a considerable amount of detail. I doubt even a university graduate could have made up that story!
As for that Navajo woman, why do you take her word for it, just because of what she says happened? You refuse to believe that Joseph Smith saw God, Jesus, and angels, but you believe this woman who claims that she was taught that she was born evil? If she had said the opposite - that she was told the Book of Mormon was true - and she believed it - you would call her delusional. You accept testimony that is anti-Mormon, but you debunk and ridicule pro-Mormon.
Isn't that a little hypocritical of you?
"The rest of your diatribe is regurgitated mythology. Fail."
I notice that you seem to have a blank mind when it comes to my other staements. Maybe because you are beginning to believe what I say? Not likely, since you've called Joseph Smith a liar, not to mention a thief, which is laughable at best. What evidence do you have that he stole anything?
Have you ever heard of a Professor Charles Anthon? He was a well-known Egyptologist. Martin Harris, who was a scribe for Joseph Smith for a short while, as well as one of the Three Witnesses, brought to Prof. Anthon a copy of the hieroglyphics as well as the translation, and he confirmed that the trannslation was correct. He gave Harris a certificate that certified that the hieroglyphics were true characters, and that the translation was also correct.
Though Anthon did tear up the certificate when he learned from Harris that "an angel of the Lord revealed it unto him", he later verified in a meeting of scientists that he had given the certificate to Harris.
Harris then proceeded to another Egyptologist, Professor Mitchell, and Mitchell also verified that the characters were true and that the translations was correct. Neither Anthon nor Mitchell ever became Mormons, so will you debunk them as well?
"You are only asked to believe honest and competent human witnesses who testified to things they saw and heard - nothing changed thier testimones - even on their deathbeds - that testimony will stand in any court of law in the land!"
("Book of Mormon on Trial" - page 89 of the 1971 edition.)
David Whitmer - another of the Three Witnesses - was the only of the Three Witnesses who died out of the church, yet he never denied what he had seen. There had been a false rumor that he had denied the Book of Mormon. He asked 19 of the most prominent and influential men - none of which were members of the church - to sign a certificate that declared that David Whitmer was an honest man. They knew him to be a man of integrity.
Also, Joseph Smith was born into a very strong religious family. He was no doubt taught to be truthful. So when he told them of his first vision, they never doubted him even for a second. Why should he lie? He had no reason to. It would gain him nothing - especially since he was persecuted for pretty much the rest of his life. No honest man would falsely claim that he had seen a vision from Heaven.
Let's see you worm your way out of that one!

More filthy lies - it is simply AMAZING how easily your ilk spews lies out of one corner of your mouth while spouting "thou shalt not lie" with the other. Pathetic.

StrongChristian, I cannot respond to your vulgar ranting (well, I COULD, but it would look silly since EVT will be removing your foul posts). With one exception:

Actually - yes, you do. And you have presented nothing but myth and fantasy.
Oops!

I'm back. I'd tell you why I haven't commented for a while, but it's long and boring. Suffice it to say that if I could have commented, I would have.
God is real, EV. Someday you will know that for yourself. When you die, and pass through the veil, you will recognzie your Heavenly Father. He is as real as you and I. I konw this to be true.
You've told StrongChristian, and me, I assume, that we just assume that you are an atheist, so I will ask you straight-out - are you an atheist?
I'm sad that you won't even open your brain to the possibilty that there is a God. You will only see it your way, and no one else's.
I will say it again: There IS a God, and the Bible is a true book, as is the Book of Mormon. I've tried to look at it from your point of view, and you know what? It's scary, the thought of there not being a loving God who watches over us. The only logical conclusion that I can come up with is that God exists.
Engaged Voter posted at 4:53 pm on Mon, Jul 23, 2012.
"Suffice it to say that if I could have commented, I would have."
Really? Even though you told me (and everyone else reading) that you were done responding to me. How effortless lies slip through your teeth.
"Someday you will know that for yourself."
I've told you before, and this will be the last time - TAKE YOUR IGNORANT SUPERSTITIOUS THREATS AND SHOVE THEM WHERE THE SUN DOESN'T SHINE, YOU SPINELESS COWARD.
"He is as real as you and I. I konw this to be true."
Yes yes, you've been making this claim over and over and over...nd running like a cockroach whenever you're asked to SUPPORT YOUR FACTUAL CLAIM.
"I'm sad that you won't even open your brain to the possibilty that there is a God."
I'm sad that you have to continually tell lies about me in order to make yourself feel better. How would you know what gods I do or don't believe in? What a piece of slime you are.
"I will say it again: There IS a God,"
Yes, you keep parroting that line like a good sheep. Doesn't mean much, since you scamper and hide rather than support the claim.
"The only logical conclusion that I can come up with is that God exists."
LOL@logical. Based on your uneducated, barely literate posts, I have serious doubts that you even know what Logic is. Your god vanished in a puff of Logic centuries ago...sorry about that.
Engaged Voter posted at 4:56 pm on Mon, Jul 23, 2012.
"It's scary, the thought of there not being a loving God who watches over us."
Yep, sure is.
It's also scary for young children to have the thought of there not being a Santa who watches over them and gives presents.
But it is necessary to grow and mature into an adult.

"You want facts; I have given you facts"
And the lies continue to flow like diarrhea.
"I just noticed you dodged my question"
LOL!!! You've dodged EVERY question of substance put to you! Slimy little snake.
"I know you think the book of Exodus hwas been proven to be false, so I will say this - if that's true, how do you explain the Jewish tradition of a Passover dinner every year?"
LOL!!! The Hindus have a celebation of Vishnu every year...how do you explain that if Vishnu isn't real. Oh and we send our children hunting for Easter Eggs every year, that proves the Easter Bunny is real!
(are you starting to see how stupid your claim is yet?)
I won't bother responding to the rest of mrconservative's hate filled rant, because the EVT will be removing the comment. Posting threats is not only rude, cowardly, and juvenile, but it is also against the Rules of Conduct for posting here.
Do ALL Mormons resort to insults and threats when they are exposed as liars, or is it just this one? ;)
mrconservative posted at 10:40 am on Wed, Jul 25, 2012.
I never said the Easter bunny was real. And it's not like you've never threatened or insulted me and StrongChristian. That shows REAL patriotism.
And I am not a liar, EV. I'm an Eagle Scout. Do you know the Scout law? Well, the first thing in it is "Trustworthy". This means we don't lie.
You're still dodging my question. But I already know the answer anyway. If you weren't an atheist, you would have already denied it. I see right through you.
Answer this for me - what is more powerful than God, more evil than the devil; the poor have it, the rich need it, and if you eat it, you die?
By the way, more kindergartners knew the answer to this question than college graduates. If you want to see the answer, scroll down to the bottom of my comment.
Nothing.
mrconservative posted at 10:57 am on Wed, Jul 25, 2012.
That's right pal - NOTHING. Not you nor anyone else can prove that God is not real. I don't need to prove that He is real - the evidence is all around you. Good luck finding it.
And if you want to reply to this comment, do so on a more recent Vent page. It's getting more difficult to get to this page; we have nearly 100 comments right now. I've never seen more than this on ANY page, not that I'd remember it. Though I have a pretty good memory, it's not perfect. I'm not too good at remembering names, for one thing.
Is it not possible that you are wrong? Are you not willing to look at it from my point of view? It's been said before, but I will say it again - you CANNOT exist without God.
I find it amusing that you think, when we die, we go back to being whatever we were before this life - and you can't even prove this. To prove that heaven is a real place, I suggest you read the book, "Heaven is for Real" by Todd Burpo. It's about a little four-year-old boy who, during emergency surgery, slipped from consciousness and went to heaven for a short time. He saw his great-grandfather - who had died thirty or so years before his birth, as well as his sister who had died in a miscarriage - and no one had told him about this. He'd been too young at the time. Will you doubt the words of a child? Hmm? ANd you can't say that surgery never happened - I know the doctors would confirm it took place.
If that's not enough, then read the "It's a Miracle" books, which have many stories of miracles. Will you deny that miracles are real? Well, I am living proof thta miracles are real. I've lived one myself. I won't tell you now - it'd take too long.
And what about that four-year-old who threw the first pitch at the D-backs game on Tuesday? He was what doctors called "internally decapitated", and he's still alive. He is nothing short of a miracle.
And what about the storms and tempests and earthquakes taht took place in about A.D. 34? Will you deny that they actually happened? There are plenty of non-LDS scientists that will confirm that they did take place. Just read the book, "Americas Before Columbus" and look on page 41 for at least three different quotes concerning those storms.
You really don't need any evidence, other than the Earth itself that God is real. How else could this world have come to exist? I doubt you can explain it. And I doubt that you can explain what happened a nanosecond before the "Big Bang" supposedly happened.
I think I know why you won't respond to the rest of my comments. Is it because you don't want to admit that you have no answer for everthing I said? Or maybe it's because, deep in your heart, you know that I am right, but are just too stubborn to admit it?
Try a bit of humility. It works wonders.
Engaged Voter posted at 5:49 pm on Wed, Jul 25, 2012.
"And it's not like you've never threatened"
Never. Not once. I realize you don't seem to understand that factual claims require this thing called EVIDENCE...but try to keep up, will ya?
"Answer this for me - what is more powerful than God, more evil than the devil; the poor have it, the rich need it, and if you eat it, you die?"
The answer is NOTHING, because your god and your devil are fictional myths...even children are able to figure out that religion is pure nonsense.
"I'm an Eagle Scout."
Okay. So you belonged to a homophobic hate club, Good for you.
(what this has to do with the unsupported claims and outright lies you've been spewing, I have no idea)
mrconservative posted at 10:48 pm on Wed, Jul 25, 2012.
I've already given you plenty of evidence that God is real. You just refuse to accept it as enough. Like I said, when you die, you will know that I am right.
The Socuting program is not full of homophobics. Have you ever heard of James Stewart? I believe he was an Eagle Scout - as was Frank Capra. He directed my favorite movie, "It's a Wonderful Life" which starred Stewart. And I don't hate anybody - not even you.
Like I've said oever and over - God is real. I KNOW it. And you will know someday, too. If you ever decide to join my church, I would welcome you with open arms - despite all the lies you've posted here.
As ffor Zeus, well, I don't think he's real. One God is enough for me.
So . . . I'm curious. Have you answered that salt question Strong Christian asked you? I'd be quite curious to know your answer.
Let me say this - Spiritually speaking, I have tasted salt - and DON'T tell me that I don't know that God is real - because I do. DON'T tell me to give you any more proof that God is real - I don't need to. It's all around you. Everywhere you look, there is evidence of God's existence. Ever been to the Grand Canyon? Ever seen it's beauty? Is it not possible, that God put it here for our benefit? If God is not real, then how did we get here? What's the purpose of life, if not to be tested?
When you die, you will know the truth. Since I don't know your real name or your age, I will probably never know when it happens. But I'm guessing that you will be gone before the year 2060. That's only a guess, and it's nearly 50 years from now.
Arrivederci. Per ora.

"The Socuting program is not full of homophobics."
What the heck is a "homophobic"?? No, the Scouts ARE homophobic, and here is the proof/evidence: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boy_Scouts_of_America_membership_controversies
"Since 1991, openly homosexual individuals have been officially prohibited from leadership positions in the Boy Scouts of America.[12] A 1991 Position Statement states: “We believe that homosexual conduct is inconsistent with the requirement in the Scout Oath that a Scout be morally straight and in the Scout Law that a Scout be clean in word and deed, and that homosexuals do not provide a desirable role model for Scouts. Atheists and agnostics are also excluded.”
(SEE THAT? I AM SUPPLYING ACTUAL EVIDENCE FOR A CLAIM! ARE WE LEARNING YET??)
"God is real. I KNOW it."
You are a filthy liar, through and through, To KNOW requires KNOWLEDGE, which requires FACTS and EVIDENCE. You have nothing, and continue to rant and rave as if you do, Pathetic.

Yes, and religious freaks like you keep claiming God made the Grand Canyon in just a few weeks (since they believe the Earth is only 6000 year old LOLOL!!!!)

I don't know why atheists or agnostics would want to be Boy Scouts anyway. Same thing to homosexuals.
"“We believe that homosexual conduct is inconsistent with the requirement in the Scout Oath that a Scout be morally straight and in the Scout Law that a Scout be clean in word and deed, and that homosexuals do not provide a desirable role model for Scouts. Atheists and agnostics are also excluded.” "
I am not afraid of gay people, nor do I hate them. I do not believe that anyone is born gay. I just don't believe it. I believe it is a choice.
"To KNOW requires KNOWLEDGE, which requires FACTS and EVIDENCE. You have nothing, and continue to rant and rave as if you do, Pathetic."
I have facts for you. You refuse to accept them. Nothing I say will change your mind. What do you want? A vision from God Himself? Do you want Moroni or someone else to appear before you? Would you deny it if that ever happened? Well, both happend to Joseph Smith, and he never once denied it, though there were perfect circumstances for him to do so. He bore his testimony to the Carthage jailer one hour before his death. One hour!
I have NEVER threatened you. I don't even know what you look like! Not that that would matter. I wouldn't harm you. I can't say you wouldn't harm me, though. You've already threatened me at least once, not to mention call me about a hundred different names. You know what though? That doesn't matter; they just bounce right off of me. Mrconservative, do you REALLY think that you can choose to be attracted to members of the same sex? You actually think you could wake up tomorrow and CHOOSE to be attracted to other men? Wow...just, wow.

About that tavern comment? Another name for a tavern is a bar, and I have never set foot in a bar before in my life, and I never will. I wouldn't go in a bar/tavern if my life depended on it. The same thing applies to casinos.
I don't care if others use them, but I never will.

One more thing -
"Please show where I claimed you were Greek. Failing that, congratulations...I just caught you in another lie, weasel."
You said that it was "interesting" that I didn't believe in Zeus, a Greek mythology god. You even referred to me as an atheist when it comes to Greek gods! Don't you have to be Greek to believe in Zeus? I always thought so. I could be wrong, but your words there gave me the impression that you were calling me greek. It was not a lie. It was a matter of my opinion.
Though the time will come when we will get a president with Greek ancestry. Even I might have a small amount of Greek ancestry. I don't know for sure.
How do I know about the president with Greek ancestry? Let's just say that I've read a small portion of a book entitled "Visions and Dreams in the Last Days"
The book has many quotes from different people, one of which claims that our government will fall when we have a president with Greek ancestry. I'm not making this up.
Another quote told of a person who saw the Twin Towers fall, years before it happened. They did not know it was a terrorist attack. I doubt they could have done anything if they had known. Another person knew that George W. Bush would have two terms. This was back, I think, in the Bush 41 years.
In case you're wondering, I'm typing all this pretty late at night, not during the Olympics. They're over for the night, but I will continue to watch them.
About that book - I'm not enirely sure that is the actual title - It may be "Drams and Visions of the Last Days" - or something like that. It's actually pretty interesting.
I suggest you read "90 Minutes in Heaven", "Heaven is For Real" and "Mere Christianity" All three are excellent books. That last one is by C.S. Lewis, though I bet you already knew that. And did you know that Lewis, was in fact, an atheist when he was a teenager? I'll bet you were amazed to discover that, whether it was now or years ago. He was converted to Christianity by none other than J. R. R. Tolkien, the author of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. In my own opinion though, the movies are better than the books. Again, that is just my opinion.

Wow, are you serious? So you think you have to be Egyptian to believe in Ra?
(You DO know the Romans worshipped both Greek and Egyptian gods, right?)
As to the rest of your delusional ranting, let me just say this:
I am reading a book. This book has talking plants, talking animals, unicorns, dragons, wizards, witches, and magic spells.
Am I reading A) The Bible, or B) The Lord of the Rings?

All right, pal. You deny that it was you comment about the tavern. Tell me where to find it. And then we'll see if it was yours or not.
