They’re BAAAACCK! It’s our annual political sign season and the self-serving politicians will be busy posting ugly candidate signs by the thousands all over our city controlled easements at most intersections.

We don’t have to put up with the mess, because their signs are illegal according to state law ARS 9-500.14, forbidding ANY electioneering on government controlled property. The violators say they can because all candidates are allowed to advertise without city favoritism. The law doesn’t say that! It says NO electioneering. Unless citizens complain to their city councils, it will continue. So make the call and help get rid of the ugly signs.
