“What grading scale gives you an ‘A’ for getting a 70 percent, a ‘B’ for a 60 percent, a ‘C’ for 50 percent and a ‘D’ for anything 0-50 percent? That’s the standard for the Arizona Department of Education’s new A-F system for rating schools. The only way for a school to get an ‘F’ is to get a ‘D’ three years in a row. What a joke.”

“I have more faith in President Obama’s Robin Hood approach tax plan, than I do Mitt Romney’s Robbing Hood-wink tax plan. Failing to release his own taxes doesn’t give him the appearance of a straight shooter.”

“All the Republicans are talking about spending cuts. How many job cuts will this result in? Maybe Congress can start by cutting its own pay in half and paying its own health insurance.”

“I went to Chick-fil-A on Aug. 1 because I too am Catholic and wanted to show my support for the owner. However, at 5 p.m., they were sold out of a three-day supply of food! That’s the way to show support for a business owner who has been unfairly criticized by the media! They have just become MY favorite restaurant!”

“Not that I ever ate or ever wanted to eat at Chick-fil-A since I can make better chicken on my backyard grill, but Dan Cathy’s distasteful views give me all the more reason to avoid his business. He has the right to express himself, and I have the right to eat somewhere else. As far as I am concerned, Mr. Cathy can go cluck himself.”

“Wednesday proved Americans value their Constitutional freedoms over what hate groups like LGBT and the Democrats are trying to sell. A lot of chickens died for our freedom.”

“According to FBI statistics, gun violence is down significantly since the expiration of the so-called assault weapon ban. Actually crime overall is down. And as a Venter pointed out on Aug. 1, as long as we have a government hell-bent on assuming more and more power over the populace we are moving closer to being Syria of today and we will need even better than what we can currently get our hands on.”

Vent #1: I guess the test scores going up really don't mean anything according to you. But hey that's OK we will survive. Vote NO on the tax increase initiative.

Vent #2: Funny how you have faith in a thief and not in a Mormon.

Vent #3: Tax cuts??? Oh you mean where the people get to keep their own money instead of the government ceasing it. Then they get to spend it on what they want and not what the government wants.

Vent #4: I ate twice at Chick-fil-a last week. One day was our 44th year of traditional marriage.

Vent #5: God bless your right to free speech. Something the rainbow community doesn't like for dissenting opinions.

    Vent #6: I agree.

Vent #7: Dang that 2nd Amendment thingy always gets in the way of the government. Thank goodness.

I've eaten at Chick-fil-a and for my money the place doesn't hold a candle to KFC or Church's Chicken. Besides, I don't patronize any business that is closed on Sunday. For the average person who works, a business that is closed on Sunday forces them to shop on Saturday. If two folks of the same gender want to get married, then that should be their prerogative. This is just pure, unadulterated discrimination. And, yes, my wife and I have been married for 42 years, in what most folks refer to as a "traditional" marriage. Considering the divorce rate among heterosexuals, maybe we can learn something from homosexuals. Besides, they have the right to be as miserable as half the heterosexuals who are married and considering divorce!

Chickens are not the only ones to lose their lives for freedom. Is that serious enough for you? (0)^(0)

    Willie,
Mitt has a plan it's just that the MSM and the liberals don't want to hear it. What's Obama's plan? More of the same I guess or as Mitt would say "Obamaloney".

"Mitt has a plan it's just that the MSM and the liberals don't want to hear it."

Who cares about the MSM or liberals? You made the claim about Mitt's plan, now out with it - explain the plan in detail here on this forum.

(unless, of course, you were telling another fib)
